In the field of mathematics education (EduMath), Chinese EduMath has attracted the world's attention. On one hand, our traditional mathematics education has a lot of valuable aspects which are accepted by the international EduMath, such as focusing on the solid foundation of mathematics, accurate calculation and precise thinking. What's more, in the International Mathematical Olympic Competition of secondary school students, Chinese students often steal the show. However, on the other hand, the voices from China are very weak in the world-wide high-new technology areas. Particularly, no Chinese native person who has ever won the award of Nobel Prize and Fields Medal, which reflect the technological and innovative strength of a country as well as the mathematical level. We should seriously summarize and introspect our EduMath. So, the study of the paper tries to start with the relationship between EduMath and creative thinking to analyze the lack of cultivation of creative thinking in EduMath in the middle school. At last, the study researches the mathematics curriculum, mathematics teaching and the evaluation of EduMath, which are very important factors of cultivating students'creative thinking in mathematics education. This study consists of three parts, which are divided into five chapters.The first part (Chapter â… ) mainly discusses the general relationship of mathematics, EduMath and the development of innovative thinking. Because the mathematical thought are closely related each other from the day of its birth, the existence and development of the math are likely to be the dependent of thought; Mathematics is also one tool of thought, the keen power of thought and the thinking way often obtain support from mathematics to prove its esthetic sense and strength. Mathematics is a very important way to cultivate the thinking ability of the students. Mathematics education is abstract, simple, formal, logical, and beautiful; the significance of EduMath is to generate ideas, cultivate culture and inspire creation. On one hand, mathematics education has laid a good foundation for the cultivation of creative thinking; on the other hand, the cultivation of innovative thinking has promoted the development of mathematics and EduMath.The second part (Chapter â…¡) analyses the lack of creative thinking in current EduMath in the middle school, based on the investigation and research. In the field of international EduMath, Chinese students will get high scores in tests (IAEP, TIMSS, PISA); The Chinese students seem to be memory, imitation, practices, and examinations in their math learning, which is so-called "the Chinese learner paradox". The value of EduMath is lost, and we believe that EduMath is a problem-solving training, which is a form and a competitive advantage; in practical teaching in mathematics, the knowledge points are all aspects of the EduMath, and it is the lack of process and does not pay attention to the cultivation of emotion. Due to the lack of selectivity of mathematics curriculum, the loss of subjects in math classroom and the utilitarian evaluation led to a lack of innovative thinking.The third part (chapters III, IV, and chapter V) give the comments on the necessity of the mathematics curriculum, mathematics teaching and evaluation of EduMath respectively in the middle school, which are all designed to develop students'creative thinking. As important carriers of mathematics learning, mathematics curriculum plays a basic role in students'mathematical knowledge accumulation and the development of creative thinking. Any mathematics curriculum which students contact has enormous influences to their lifelong developments. The mathematics curriculum has features of basic, process, development and innovation. We are supposed to explore these characteristics, and mathematics curriculum resources should be excavated and integrated. Mathematics curriculum, with great openness and selectivity, should be organized properly with course contents, course sequences and curriculum presents and so on. The core ability of mathematics learning is to discover, submit, analyze and solve the mathematical questions, it is meaningful to the cultivation of students'innovative thinking, and thus the mathematics should be creational and processable, cultivate the students'questioning consciousness. Mathematics education can not be separated from mathematics teachers, who should better pay attention to students'thinking, promote mathematical understanding and encourage the thoughts of different seeking. Based on the cultivation of innovative thinking, the evaluation of EduMath should make the students achieve good emotion of mathematics, promote good self-learning ability and raise mathematics wisdom with the help of the teachers. In addition, in the way of evaluation methods, the diversity, the multiplicity and the humanity should be also taken into consideration; the value pursuing of mathematics education is to promote the development of students'creative thinking.
