In recent years,the word "innovation" has become synonymous with talent training in the information age.Various countries are thinking about how to use educational methods to cultivate newcomers with innovative consciousness and innovative talents.The Chinese government has proposed an innovation-driven development strategy,encouraging schools at all levels to reform traditional education models and offer innovative courses.Maker Education advocates "practice,creation and sharing",with the goal of cultivating students' sense of innovation and creative ability.It has become an inevitable trend to integrate maker education with the teaching practice of innovative courses.However,due to the late start of innovative courses,there are still many problems,which have not achieved the purpose of cultivating students' innovative ability in a true sense.This research investigates and understands the current teaching status of innovation courses in junior high schools,finds existing problems,and combines relevant theories and principles of maker education to construct a teaching design framework for innovative courses that cultivate students' innovative thinking ability.Take the seventh-grade robotics course as an example.The teaching experiment verifies the validity of the teaching design.The main contents of each chapter of this article are as follows:The first chapter is the introduction.It mainly elaborates the research background and research significance,and summarizes the research status of robot education,maker education and innovation courses at home and abroad,and determines the content,methods and ideas of this research on this basis.The second chapter is the definition of core concepts and theoretical basis.By consulting related literature,the concepts of maker education,robot education and innovative courses were defined.and the theoretical basis of this research was determined,namely constructionism and Dewey's "learning by doing" theory.The third chapter is the investigation of the teaching status of junior high school innovation courses.Combining existing related research to compile a survey questionnaire on the teaching status of junior high school innovation courses.Through data collection and analysis,it is found that junior high school innovation courses mainly have serious competitionism,insufficient resource allocation,lack of standardized and complete teaching design,and lack of innovation for students.Ability development and other issues.The fourth chapter is the formulation of the teaching design of innovative courses under the concept of maker education.Based on the problems found in the survey results,combined with the characteristics of maker education,the core literacy of Chinese student development and related principles of instructional design,an instructional design framework with the goal of cultivating students' innovative thinking ability was constructed.Teaching content,teaching resources that support innovation,teaching strategies that encourage innovation,teaching situations that stimulate innovation,strengthen innovative teaching links,and promote innovative teaching evaluation.The fifth chapter is the teaching practice of junior high school innovation courses under the concept of maker education.Design the teaching experiment,apply the teaching design of the junior high school innovation course to the seventh grade robot course,give the construction case "hand fan" and the programming case "automatic obstacle avoidance".The experimental class implements this teaching design,and the control class does not make any intervention.After a semester of teaching experiments,statistical analysis of the experimental class and the control class before and after the test data,combined with student interviews and learning results,verified the effectiveness of the teaching design.Chapter 6 is the summary and outlook.This part mainly summarizes the main results of this research,and points out the deficiencies of this research and the future research directions.
