It is a kind of instinct of mankind to pursue the freedom and consciousness of the practice. The whole history of human development is also the history of the improving consciousness of human practice. The most general characteristic of the consciousness is that human beings practice is purposeful and designing, and finally is full of freedom. At the same time, the consciousness of university curriculum practice is might well relative and keeping promoting. At the least degree, all that practice which has aim and awareness is conscious. At the higher degree, the practice that is purposeful, aware and disciplinarian should be considered as conscious. The most conscious practice is that the law and the aim is highly unified, the freedom and the liberation is the fundamental pursuit, and the practitioner regards practice as free activity which realizes the value of his life.To promote the consciousness of university curriculum practice, not only has the ultimate meaning that realizes the freedom and the liberation of mankind, and lends itself to the all-round development, but also has the realistic meaning that cultivates modern people whose subjectivity is developed fully, and improves the quantity and efficiency of the practice.The paper consists of 4 chapters, in addition to the preface and the conclusion.Preface is mainly about the intention of the writing, the explanation of some concepts, and the introduction of the structure of the thesis.Based on the difference in the mode of thinking and in value system, we divide university curriculum practice into three levels in Chapter I: common- sense level, scientific level and philosophic level. After introducing the characteristics of thinking mode and the value system in three levels, Chapter I explores the features of university curriculum practice in three levels, then draws the following conclusion: from common sense level, to scientific level and philosophic level, the consciousness of university curriculum practice is keeping promoting. In fact, the chapter emphasizes the need and the feasibility of promoting the consciousness of university curriculum practice.From Chapter II to chapter IV, and the last part, the author concerns about how to promote the consciousness of university curriculum practice. There are some conditions for the promotion of human consciousness, such as more autonomic practitioner, more reasonable aim, more correct theory,and the cognition of objective law, and so on. Moreover, the consciousness of some specific practice is affected by the social condition. As the promotion of the consciousness of university curriculum practice isn't spontaneous, such efforts should be done.Chapter II is on the main characteristics and some important relations of university curriculum practice. It firstly looks into ways in which university curriculum practice is affected by notions of practice, education, university and curriculum. We should understand university curriculum practice by insisting on the principle of the unity of "to be" and "how to be". Then it suggests that autonomy, exploration, generality, complimenting and promoting nature of teacher and student, specialty, and social and international features. In the university curriculum practice, we should handle well following relationships: reality and transcendence, activity and passivity, positive function and negative function, prearrangement and creation, unity and diversity, intensity and extensity, internationalization and nationalization. According to the character of the law of university curriculum practice, the practitioner should insist on the principle of the unity of dialectical historic determinism and materialistic main-body selection.Chapter III is on the aim of university curriculum practice. Firstly, we discuss the rationality of aim of university curriculum practice from its mechanism, subjectivity, character, content, and realization.
