Population aging is one common issue the world faces. This trend has triggered discussion on the elders' accommodation and transformation in numerous social changes. In thus context, many theories exist to explain the elders' phenomenon. The focus and emphasis of this essay lies in the age education. In theoretical part, the first point of exploration is why the earlier education failed to take elders' issues into consideration. Not until the viewpoint of "Lifelong education" has been proposed does it become a serious matter, thus pointing out the position, significance and connotation of aged education. To illuminate the aged education, it shall induce advantageous factors and eliminate disadvantageous obstacles first in the context of elders' learning characteristics and environment. In the context of elders' specific learning demand, of course, it should also inspect what educational aspects in aged education requiring special consideration for further intensification and planning. Besides, aged education includes many rich philosophical viewpoints and theories as well, ranging from emancipatory philosophy, conversion theory and postmodernism to humanism, progressivism and critical philosophy, all of which can be applied to aged education. When it comes to the aspect of fulfillment, a general account of the status of implementation for aged education by US, England, Japanese and China is given first, followed by describing the status quo on the practices of implementation for aged education in Taiwan area, with the major point focusing on inducting the characteristics from the two aspects on a basis of administrative division and instructional property for statement and classification. Based on these statements, this essay also aims to propose points as crucial to aged education in Taiwan area for further review and discussion as well as to apply what ways and channels in the hope of seeking advices for improvement of the aged education. I do hereby point out reflectively that aged education should have some dialectical original views of drastic change toward education, and all education should take notice of one phased issue as well as take "vision mingling of life subject interaction" as such view to find how elders of different experiences and positions meet their educational requirement, especially if aged education serves as not fortunate elders' privilege. Finally from the experience of aged education in Taiwan area, it conducts a discussion on its relationship with aged welfare. Moreover, aged education should be placed on the basis of globalized vision and postmodern viewpoint to make a good command of time pulsation and seek future perspectives.
