Today men pay more attention to the school-based educational reform. School reform needs direction of educational idea. The force of educational idea which correspond to the time spirit and the nature of education is powerful. In the direction of new educational idea, the reality of schooling is changing. But the changing of reality do not totally lie on subjective will, it has its own logic. So we must inquire the inner mechanism of the existing, developing, changing of the school reality. What about the function of new educational idea in the process of changing? And how does it work?As a kind of social institution, school is constructed by specifically logic, mechanism and system. It has its own historical context, and has intimate relationship with social context. They are the bottle-neck to school-reform.New educational idea must be materialized to daily praxis. Educational behavior is not only a kind of individual behavior, but also a kind of social behavior. It has the common feature and logic of social praxis and action.The process of school-reform is the process of continue improvement of educators' experience, educational experience is not merely possessed by individual, but is anonymously and commonly possessed by most of the educators in given period and area. The historical inquiry on the formation and development of educational experience can make more clearly vision to the educational experience of today.As a profoundly changing process, school-reform is not determined by one force or by individual good will. It is socially constructed.The process of school-reform is the course to the educational ideal directed by new educational idea. The inner mechanism for new educational idea to put in practice is: comprehension and dialogue, learning and reference, reflection and reconstruction.
