Research On Internal Governance Mechanism Of Nonprofit Organizations In China

Since 1980s, a great organizational institutional innovation has appeared in the political and economic society in the whole world, it is the global formation of nonprofit organizations, which searches for public benefit voluntarily and participates in all fields of human activity as a new role different from government and enterprises. As the social surroundings change, however, the nonprofit organization, with the appearance of avoiding "market failure" and "government failure", has being shown its "voluntary failure" in all sorts of forms, and this greatly damages its social credit. And the solutions to all those problems essentially depend on perfect governance structure of nonprofit organization. This dissertation focuses on the nonprofit organization and its internal governance from the aspects of its basic theory, governance structure, and incentive mechanism and so on, based on the problems of the Chinese nonprofit organization in the period of transition and its present governance conditions. This dissertation mainly studies the following points:The first point is the summarization of the present research conditions of nonprofit organization based on the review of the research literatures of this field, the research contents and ranges, and the roughly defined key concepts and their explanations.The second point is the explanation of basic theory of nonprofit organization. The research is carried out in two different ways: one is brief depiction of classification systems and organization theory of nonprofit organization in western countries; the other is our country's present classification systems, organization theory and some of my viewpoints, which are based on the present conditions of our country.The third is governance structure of nonprofit organization and its operation models.
