Individuality education is one of the topics of general interest both in educational theory and practice.The root cause of many of the problems in modern theories and practice of individuality education lie in the one-sided view of individuality which in turn gives rise to the one-sided understanding of individuality education. Therefore, this monograph, gives an all-round and multi-dimentional visual angle definition to individuality education. The conclusion is: Individuality is the psychological and social traits formed in a given social system by the individual which in a special manner combine organically to imbue the individual with a characteristic sociality. It not only includes those fine qualities supposed to be valuable, but those as well supposed to be defects. Individuality education is an educational activity which, under the guidance of correct educational thinking and regarding the actual individuality of every one who receives education as the starting point, cultivates and strengthens his or her positive individuality trait and prevent or remould his or her negative individuality trait through the unified process of individualization and socialization, self-education...
