Well-off Society In China Leisure Education Research

As the rapid development of the productivity and science and technology, and the great change of the mode of production,to enjoy leisure is becoming an important part of people's daily life due to the increase of leisure time. Especially, after China set its task to build a comprehensive well-to-do society, as a new lifestyle and a new value concept, leisure needs reconsideration and guidance. It becomes an important problem that how to connect the leisure with people's life enjoyment and life quality and how to improve the comprehensive individual development and social harmony. It can be said that leisure education can be the key content of modern lifestyle. The paper tries to analyze it in two dimensions. Theoretically, the paper is carried out by three aspects, which is the history, the philosophical base and the idea position.Firstly, to look into the meaning and history of leisure, from which we know that leisure is a historic category. Taking the relation between leisure and labor as the key thread, from four dimensionalities of ancient, tradition, modern and future, we can divide leisure into four specific types—primitive combination, traditional dependence, modern independence and future unity, which exposes the relationship between leisure and labor from primitive combination to depend and separate, then unites with new character. It is a dialectical process of the negation of negation and spiral development.Secondly, we will analyze leisure from three different points of philosophical views which is ontology, methodology and axiology to reveal three meanings of leisure: life being and life freedom, life style and life choice, life function and life value. And then point out that the essence of leisure education is the education of modern life style and is the education to guide the people to live a healthy and happy life.Lastly, to make definite about the idea and position of leisure education. The paper clarifies four kinds of misunderstandings of leisure, and combines the leisure education with the social civilization progress, the intrinsic need of individual growing and the comprehensive development of human being's freedom. And argues that Marxist theory on human being is the base of leisure education while the comprehensive development of human being's freedom is its essential purpose. At the same time, we will point out that there should be an ethical limit to leisure education.Practically speaking, the paper analyzes the unbalanced character between the goat of well-to-do society and its present development, points out the practical base of leisure education and reveals its practical ideal .Firstly, the leisure education is put on the base of target of comprehensive well-to-do society. Leisure education in our country have the late starting and complicate characters by comparison with its more than hundred years of history in west. On the one hand, the aim to build a comprehensive well-to-do society bring about great changes in people's life style: value pursuit is changed from material life style to mental life style; leisure and consumption style is changed from thrifty style to enjoying style; life pattern is changed from closed and single style to open and abundant style. These objectively make the leisure education become an urgent need. On the other hand, the unbalanced development in our society, unavoidably restricts the aim of leisure education and the way in which it is carried out, and makes it take on an overlapping and complicate look in which make-a-living leisure and enjoy-life leisure is being together. Farther more, we still point out the misunderstandings of leisure education.Secondly, according to the target of comprehensive well-to-do society, as the important content of modern lifestyle, the leisure education should pursuit the following practical ideal: at the base of life world, to improve the life quality and life enjoyment; at the base of life practice, to education harmonious life idea and life style; at the base of life value , to guide a comprehensive and balanced development of life pursuit...
