It is said that Synergic Education is the mainstream in the field of education in future. Synergic Education is a way of education that aims at improving education quality by running education system in a methodical way, which could be successfully achieved under the guidance of modern education thoughts and Synergic Theory and through exchanging education information among families, schools and the society. To be specific, Synergic Education achieves its goal mainly through three different kinds of activities: first, synergic activities concerning the interaction between teachers and students'parents (following, it will be called"parents"for short ) based on mutual trust; second, parents'activities of obtaining their children's school information, of conducting family education, of actively interacting information with teachers and participating in schools'decisions; third, activities regarding teachers'informing parents of relevant information, guidance for family education and teachers'actively seeking support and suggestions from parents. In an information era, Synergic Education deserves to be supported by modern network and communication technologies.By employing questionnaires and examining the current situation of supporting technology for Synergic Education, the purpose of the study mainly lies in the following aspects: to know parents and teachers'identification with Synergic Education, the degree of their involvement and the obstacles; to identify the characteristics of the supporting technology and the six difficulties it meets; to design and develop a multi-source synthesis system in the hope of overcoming the current technological difficulties, removing the obstacles concerning the involvement and making full use of technology to improve the effects and efficiency of Synergic Education. The dissertation consists of four parts. By employing document research method through conducting a literature review analysis on previous literature of the past ten years, the first part discussed the current research situation of Synergic Education with technological support: its theoretical foundation, development, methodology and the roles of involvement, etc. The second part investigated the current implementation of Synergic Education with technological support. It mainly adopted empirical study with questionnaire investigation as the main research method and interview as supplement, taking 90 teachers and 900 parents from 15 primary schools as the research participants. The results were analyzed by employing SPSS17.0. ANOVA , T-test and Scheffe post-hoc analysis were adopted to examine the differences concerning teachers and parents'identification, involvement and difficulties with Synergic Education. The third part analyzed the current development of the technological supporting system for Synergic Education. It summarized the technological characteristics and weaknesses of eight classical school-family communication systems through testing and evaluation. The fourth part was mainly concerned about the design and development of the multi-source synthesis system. By summarizing the practice of Synergic Education, examining current technology and borrowing from the theories of Synergic Education, it designed the system, tried to realize the system function and evaluated the effects. All these analyses laid a technological foundation for the success of Synergic Education. The dissertation finally summarized the present study by indicating the research results: it mainly analyzed Synergic Education and its supporting technology, developed a new technological supporting system and achieved the goal of establishing technological supporting systems for Synergic Education. In addition, it pointed out the direction for further studies. The following conclusions can be drawn from the study:First, most parents and teachers identified themselves with Synergic Education.Second, although parents and teachers'idea of involvement in Synergic Education has changed, their actual participation still needs to be increased.Third, the main obstacles for parents' involvement in Synergic Education were: lack of communication fees, insufficient time, lack of knowledge about the content and lack of parents' synergistic ability.Fourth, present Synergic Education faced difficulties from six aspects: communication fees, cross-network work, multi-source synthesis, practical effects, technology and commercial profits.Fifth,it designed and developed multi-source synthesis system to solve the following problems in a technological way: publishing information freely; running various systems together; synthesizing multi-sources; lessening technological difficulties and running the system in a commercial way.Sixth, the multi-source synthesis system improved teachers and parents'actual involvement and was helpful for improving the effects of Synergic Education.
