It studies the society from the perspective of "open", and it closely related to social vitality, social risk, social time and so on, but each has its focus. Social open is the objective trend of historical development. Human society becomes more and more open down through the ages, but the pace of this change is very fast in one time and slow in another time. Today, mankind has entered the era of globalization. Social open has become a marked social reality. The development of human society rely on a wide variety of mainsprings, such as the basic contradictions of society, class struggle, revolution, reform and the development of science and technology, undoubtedly, social open is a driving force,too. Social open has made people's contact scope become larger on the one hand, and made the society change itself from the closed state to the open state on the other hand, we can find that the nature of the productive forces develops from small production to social production; the nature of the ownership develops from small private ownership to multiple ownership, economical type shifts from self-sufficient economy to commodity economy, market economy; political system shifts from dictatorship to democracy; people develops themselves toward the free direction. These social changes fully demonstrated that social open is the objective trend of human development.Social open is a symbol of social development on the one hand, and it is the premise and driving force for the social development on the other hand. Today, social open and globalization have woven together; globalization is not only the result of social open, but also become the background of social open at the same time.China and western philosophers created different theoretical systems to describe their open society. Sun Yat-sen, Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping who were three great thinkers of china of 20th century separately proposed their own open theory for the prosperity and civilization of china. The leaders of the third generations and general secretary Hu Jin-tao inherit and promote the guiding ideology of Marxism-Leninism, vigorously promote the reform and opening up, and then they not only enriched the opening theory,but also promoted open practice, and they have made great achievements. Starting from Bergson, western philosophers such as Morris, Popper and Soros created their open theories. Although the founders of maxims did not use the term of "open", there are adequate discussion in their works. It is because of these philosophers's discussion about "open"so this PHD thesis has rich theory resources.Social open is the inevitable trend of social development. Human social and personal development will toward to the direction of free, harmonious and comprehensive development by social open. For the free development, there are many things such as people's free for thought, applying their creativity and initiative, the realization of the realm of free which cannot become a reality without social open; for the harmonious development, there are many things such as the harmonious coexistence between human and nature, the harmonious coexistence between one and another or society which need social open; for the comprehensive development,people's needs and the comprehensive development of their capacity need social open.At present, China is continuing to push forward reform and opening-up. Facing the new international situation, china's social open encountered some new difficulties. Only by emancipating the mind, focus on the wisdom of the whole party and people, china's economical, political and cultural opening-up will be made great progress.
