Study Of Disciplinary Construction Of Sports Discipline In Chinese Universities Under Cross-discipline Perspective

Sports practice has already developed into a complicated and the most influential social system in the 21st century, which makes sports discipline developed into a multi-crossed one. With sport discipline as research object, and its complicacy characteristic as the starting point of this study, and based on the analysis of the interdisciplinary characteristic of sports discipline and the investigation of the concrete practice on the interdisciplinary construction of sports discipline in Chinese universities, the research methods of literature, history, interview, case study were used to systematically study the interdisciplinary development mechanism, to construct the interdisciplinary development mode of sports discipline and put forward the strategies to construct and develop sports discipline in Chinese universities. The research results show:The complicacy and interdisciplinary characteristics of sports discipline must be paid close attention to during its construction, and the thinking mode also need to change. We must analyze the current situation and the future of sports discipline development from an overall, complicated, multidimensional perspective, and fully realize the significance of the interdisciplinary development of sports discipline when we construct and make a plan for it.The external characteristics of the interdisciplinary development of sports discipline were:interdisciplinary scientific research, the training of the compounding personnel with interdisciplinary knowledge and the emergence of the new interdisciplinary discipline. The interdisciplinary mechanism of sports discipline was developed under the push of the internal and external dynamics, was an integrated system which was formed by the fact that sports and other disciplines was crossed and integrated with the key elements such as the main body, subject, method, knowledge and culture of discipline.How the main body of discipline functions the discipline-crossing was determined by, on one hand, the cultivation of the main bodies of disciplines which have the interdisciplinary vision and ability, on the other hand, the establishment of the organizations which take charge in the affairs of discipline-crossing in universities, and the formation of the scientific groups and scientists'groups who do research on how to innovatively develop sports discipline into an interdisciplinary one.The complicacy characteristic of sports discipline has determined how many perspectives was taken, how many methods was used to do an omni-bearing understanding and studying on the scientific research of sports. The training of scholars in sports field with the ability to find the common question between the sports practice and other disciplines should be included into the cultivation goal and plan for high-level personnel in the sports field. The cultivation of scientific personnel with the ability to do interdisciplinary research should be paid attention to, the pace-setters in scientific research in sports field should be encouraged to study other relevant disciplines and communicate with other researchers in the relevant disciplines, and all kinds of subsidy projects should increase subsidy on sports research, all above mentioned were key means to develop an interdisciplinary sports discipline.The obstacle of the culture of sports discipline should be overcome during the process of the construction of sports discipline, and we should establish the interdisciplinary dialogue platform in universities, open the discipline border, strengthen the communication between sports discipline and other disciplines, motivate the scholars in sports field to learn the knowledge of other disciplines, and promote the mutual infiltration between the different discipline cultures, all of them were very important approaches to develop an interdisciplinary sports discipline.This study enriched and perfected the theory of discipline-crossing, built a bridge between the development of discipline-crossing theory and the development of the special discipline, expanded the development theory of discipline-crossing in universities, offered the theoretical foundations for sports discipline in Chinese universities to cross with other disciplines and solve the complicated problems in sports field, and provided the Chinese sports discipline strategies to develop into an interdisciplinary discipline by utilized the modern university platform.
