As an important part and outcome of globalization, industrial transfer is the fundamental factor leading to the change of regional integrated strength. Given the direct or indirect influences to regional economic strength, regional function, regional employment, land use, regional image, regional urbanization and industrialization, industry Clusters,etc. industrial transfer is the essential way to narrow the unbalanced development between different regions in China. Nearly half a century, the fact that the four large-scale international industrial transfers and the sharply rising about some countries or regions, such as Japan, "Asian Tigers" and China's southeast coast, has confirmed the feasibility of this theory in practice.Coupling is a physics concept, which refers to that two or more systems or motion modes jion up by various interactions, and comes out a dynamic incidence relation among different subsystems under the positive interaction.International or domestic industial transfer presents a nonlinear and clustered situation, and promotes the interactive coupling development of industial transfer & industial cluster to make consensus among theory, decision-making section and industry. As the performance of the optimized industry allocation, industrial spatial clustering has become a worldwide economic phenomenon. Correlational researches show that the competitive advantage, innovation and network of industrial cluster are the keys for enhancing regional competitiveness. Meantime, they will become an important determinant for investment decisions and regional industrial transfers of multinationals. What's more, the practice in Pearl River Delta and Yangtze River Delta declared that a large-scale industrial transfer often associated with the economic spatial clustering, which takes the industrial transfer as the principal character. Therefore, industrial cluster itself contains industrial transfer factors, and be as the outcome of the industrial transfer. Accordingly, the Coupling Development Effect of "attracting developed regions to industrial cluster- cluster growing- attracting more high-quality industrial tranfers" is taken shape.International experience and China's reality show that regional industrial transfer and industrial cluster are the significant factor in regional development, and exsit interactive coupling. However, there are some connotative problems, for example, what is the interactive coupling mechanism of them? Can regulate or control? Can simulate quantitatively in the view of space-time? How to apply in pactice? All what are essential to answer. Applying basic principles of economic geography, regional economics, industrial economics and development economics, consulting advanced achievements and methods of industrial tranfer, industrial cluster and regional coordinated development both at home and abroad, adopting the method of theory and demonstration combination, spatial analysis and mathematical statistics & mathematical modeling combination, and vertical&horizontal comparison combination, taking analysis on coupling mechanism as the principal line, making regional coordinated development as taget, this paper has analyzed the contents, routes, agent, driving force mechanism, model design, mesurment and effection about the coupling between regional industrial transfer and industrial cluster in undertake areas.Chapter 1 is the part of introduction, where mainly explains the research background and topic significance, introduction for research methods and ideas, as well as the definition of related concepts.Chapter 2 is about the theoretical basis and progress analysis for industrial transfer and industrial cluster. It has listed systematically to theoretical basis from the perspective of macro and micro, and compared the theoretical basis and research situation of industrial cluster. Furthermore, it mainly concludes and summarizes the concept, connotation, agent, model and effect of the coupling model.Chapter 3 further analyzed the content, model and route of regional industrial tranfer and industrial cluster in recipient place. Based on the general rules of international industrial transfer and the clustered development tendency of China regional industrial transfer, this chapter analyzed the complexity for regional industrial tranfer system and industrial cluster system. Meanwhile, it explained the content of regional industrial tranfer and industrial cluster in undertake areas in the view of cluste, nonlinearity, flow, diversity and innovation. Moreover, it also pointed out that industrial clustered tranfer is the major pathway for undertaking industrial cluster in undertake areas, and industrial cluster in undertake areas is the continuous momentum for the other. Therefore, industrial clustered tranfer is the coupling model for the two, and the coupling route is seeking the objectives for comparative advatage and competitive advantage to unify inherently.Chapter 4 illustrates the cause and driving force mechanism for the coupling of regional industrial tranfer and industrial cluster in undertake areas. Based on the theory of spatial interaction, competitive advantage and business growth, this chapter has analysed the causes and different pathways in three viewing angles, i.e. region, industry and enterprises. Furthermore, it indicates that market power, system power and bearing capacity are the main driving forces for the coupling.Chapter 5 is the part of measurement and demonstration. Taking Jiangsu for example, it has summarized the characteristics of northern undertaking southern industrial transfer, and designed the mesurement model for the strength of industrial transfer flow. The result shows that the core area and node area of industrial transfer are nonlinear. From the spatial autocorrelation, it has analyzed the nonlinear regular pattern of different businesses and different regional industrial cluster. Taking Huai'an for example. this paper has applied cointegration analysis to test the coupling harmony of industrial tranfer and industrial cluster, and analyzed the effect for adding capital stoc, promoting ecnomic growth, upgrading industrial structure, optimizing employment structure, improving industrial cluster levels and encouraging technological progress & system innovation.Chapter 6 is part of investigation and demonstration. Centering on questionnaire survey for 84 companies, this part has corrected the analytical framework of the Hayter's theory of location entering, raised a general analytical framework for industrial transfer in one region, and verified coordinated growth between Huai'an regional industrial transfer in undertake areas and local industrial cluster at the present stage.Chapter 7 is the conclusion. It has summarized the main conclusions, insufficients and prospect of this paper.
