Study On The Evaluation On The Role Played By The Government In The Process Of Regional Leading Industries Concentration

The industries concentration, the new form of industrial arrangement pattern emerged from and suits to the harsh market competition, has become an unique economic organization form in step with the deepening of the economic globalization, and functions as the Engine for regional economic development. The role to be played by the Government has become a theoretical interest and academic concern. With a view to solving the problem of random repetition of industries building and boosting the healthy progress of the industries, this Thesis is fucused on the role to be played by the Government , as well as the measures and polices to made by the Government for the promotion of the leading industries.This Thesis falls into 8 parts: The first part is to touch on the reasons for and implication of the research, review the research documents on industries concentration, make clear the research means, and expound the research contents. The second part is concerned with the theoretical foundation related to the study of the regional leading industries concentration, which encompasses the following disciplines as Management, Industrial Economics, Regional Development Strategy, System Science, and so forth. The third part is to deal with competiton advantages founded on the analysis of the concept, basic types and characteristics of the industries concentration. The fourth part is regarding to the various kinds of formation pattern of the regional leading industries concentration. These various kinds of formation pattern are resulting from different factor respectively, which include natural resources abundance, culture advancement, traditional industrial advantages, geographical superiority, commercialization of science and technologies, as well as the effective development initiative. The fifth part is to go to details on the role played by the Government in the process of the regional leading industries concentration, and analyse the necessity for the involvement of the Government in the management of industries concentration as well as the function of the Government .The sixth part is trying to set forth the evaluation indicators system and make a structure mode of the network.. An empirical analysis based on the Case of Jining City, is to be made. The seventh part is to probe into the issues existed currently and the causes of them, and put forward some suggestions as to the role to be played by Jining Municipal Government aimed at advancing the regional leading industries concentration. The eight part is to draw the conclusions, point out the shortcomings of the research and give a perspective for further study.
