As the development of the society economic structure, the retailer, as the closest node enterprise to the consumers, occupies more and more important position in the market. For the retailer has the great advantage of the market information, the supplier dominated supply chain turns to the retailer dominated supply chain. However, there exists a lot of problems in the operation of the retailer dominated supply chain, for example, the retailer adopting the VMI model to transfer the inventory risk and cost to the supplier,lowering the wholesale price using its market power and forcing the supplier to provide the longer delayed payment time. In this paper, we pay attention to the problems in the retailer dominated supply chain, mainly focusing on the following items:1. Based on the practice of VMI, the unification of various VMI strategies from the following three aspects: Information flow, capital flow and material flow is discussed, which help us to construct the space of VMI strategy to include all varieties of VMI. From the VMI strategy space, the factors affecting the choice of VMI model are proposed, according to that the enterprises can choose the appropriate VMI model. Furthermore, analyze the inventory operation model of three-echo supply chain from the information flow and material flow has been introduced.2. The profits of the players in the traditional model and VMI model are discussed from the two points: Discuss the profits based on two pricing power structure of the endogenous and exogenous wholesale price; on the other hand, analyze the impact of the suppliers'risk attitude on the profits in the two models. Furthermore, analyze the coordination of the revenue sharing contract and how to reveal the suppliers'risk attitude using signal game theory.3. The implementation of vendor managed inventory model in the retailer dominated supply chain is discussed from the perspective of the evolutionary game theory. Firstly, the single group evolutionary game is used to analyze the situation whether the supplier invests to change the traditional inventory model into VMI. On the other hand, double groups'evolutionary game theory is adopted to demonstrate the equilibrium of the cooperation relationship between the retailer and the supplier in the process of VMI's implementation. At last, the factors which influence the stability of the VMI system are analyzed. 4. In the retailer dominated supply chain, the retailer always makes every effort to lower the supplier's wholesale price. The research is mainly focused on two points: one point is to analyze the retailer's strategy choice on squeezing or not squeezing the supplier's profit in duopoly retailer market; the other point is to analyze the condition that the supplier transfers from the retailer distribution channel to the direct channel or dual channel distribution in the retailer dominated supply chain, considering the influence of the direct channel.5. In the retailer dominated supply chain, the retailer always asks the supplier to provide longer delayed payment time. However, the retailer offers the consumers the short delayed payment time. Considering the customers'bad debt loss, the optimal retailer's replenishment policies are discussed with bad debt and payment delay in the three-stage supply chain with the dominant retailer.
