Research On The Effects Of Relationship Learning And Dynamic Capability On Entrepreneurial Technological Innovation

With the development of economically globalization and quickly changing of technology, companies become more and more difficult to rely on their own to obtain all the necessary knowledge and ability. How do the enterprises promote technological innovation through the partner relationship has become focus of many research and practice recently.Although there were a lot of studies about organizational learning and technological innovation, in-depth study and systematic analysis are still not enough. Furthermore, there is no sufficient attention for cross-cutting areas among business relations theory, theory of dynamic capabilities and organizational learning theory.Based on learning-capabilities-innovative research framework, this study builds and verifies the model of effects of relationship learning and dynamic capability on entrepreneurial exploratory innovation and exploitative innovation, and further analyze of the impact of the process and the internal mechanism. On the basis of literature review and case study, the study proposes theoretical assumptions as follows. Firstly, how does relationship learning influence different types of technological innovation with the different dimensions? Based on the previous studies, this study divides relationship learning into information sharing, common understanding and relationship memory to discuss the impact mechanism of relationship learning on exploratory innovation and exploitative innovation. Secondly, what are the roles of dynamic capabilities in different types of technology innovation? Whether the relationship between relationship learning and dynamic capabilities will affect technological innovation or not? In this study, the impact of dynamic capabilities on technological innovation is discussed by three dimensions of sensing capability, integrative capability and absorptive capacity. And further analyze the intermediary role of dynamic capabilities between relationship learning and different types of technological innovation. Thirdly, how the external environmental uncertainties influence the relationship between relationship learning and dynamic capabilities? This study discusses the mechanism of cnviromental uncertainty from two aspects, which are the environment dynamic and environment competitive.Based on the theoretical framework,this study collects data from300manufacturing enterprises in Zhejiang province by questionnaire methods. And analyze the date by using statistical methods including exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory analysis,reliability testing,structural equation modeling and multivariate statistical regression.In this study,the effects of relationship learning and dynamic ability on technological innovation are discussed,the regulatory rolc of environmental uncertainty is confirmed,and it also verifies the theoretical framework and assumptions.Some interesting and important conclusions are as follows:(1)The relationship learning within business partners has positive effects on different types of technology innovation.Information sharing,common understanding, relationship memory have important influence on the development of exploratory innovation and exploitative innovation of enterprises.(2)Dynamic capability(sensing capability,integrative capability and absorptive capacity)has a crucial effect on the development of exploratory innovation and exploitative innovation,and it plays an intermediary role in the relationship between relationship lcarning and technological innovation.In other words,relational learning can contribute to the improvement of dynamic capabilities.thereby affecting technological innovation.(3)Environmental uncertainty plays a regulatory role in the relationship between relationship learning and dynamic capabilites.Highly dynamic competitive environment can sffect the development of relationship learning and dynamic capabilities.The conclusions strengthen the understanding of the relationship learning, dynamic capabilities on technological innovation which have important theoretical significances.This research builds the overall theoretieal tramework of the impaet of relationship learning and dynamic capabilities on the technological innovation to further study the mechanism of relational learning.dynamic capsbilities. technological innovation.and the regulatory role of environmental uncertainty.The study further expands the theory of corporate relations and organizational learning, enriches the learning theory, expands the theory of technological innovation, and strategic management. The study also has important guiding significance and reference value for enterprises to strengthen management level of the relationship, enhance knowledge acquisition capability, extensive operating experience and skills, and develop new marketing strategies, learning strategies and innovation management strategies. In the last part of this paper, the author presents the limitations of this study and several issues that need to be studied in the future.
