The Impact Of Learning Orientation On Dynamic Capabilities Of New Firms:A Moderated Mediation Model

In the era of knowledge-based economy,enterprise competition not only depends on the endowment of basic resources,but also on the construction of dynamic capabilities of enterprises,which has become an important part of maintaining competitive advantage.Existing studies have shown that the new weakness and environmental uncertainty of new ventures lead to dynamic capabilities which are crucial to the survival and growth of new ventures.Learning orientation is a kind of cultural values and learning attitude of an organization.Learning orientation drives the improvement of organizational ability through the influence of exploratory learning and exploitative learning.This paper focuses on the mechanism of the relationship between learning orientation and dynamic capabilities of enterprises,and uses empirical research to explore the mediating and regulating factors of the relationship between learning orientation and dynamic capabilities of enterprises,in order to provide new support for the empirical research of dynamic capabilities construction.At the same time,the study focuses on how to improve the dynamic capabilities of enterprises under the learning orientation of entrepreneurial scenarios,and intends to strengthen the pertinence of the research conclusions,so as to provide practical guidance for the efficient learning and knowledge accumulation of entrepreneurial enterprises.Based on this point of departure,the conceptual model and research hypothesis of this paper are put forward by studying relevant literature at home and abroad,and based on dynamic capability theory and organizational learning theory.The model includes the relationship among learning orientation,binary learning and dynamic ability and its mechanism.Environmental uncertainty is introduced as a moderating variable to expand the research on the moderating role of environmental uncertainty between learning orientation and binary learning,and between learning orientation and dynamic ability.In this study,empirical research was used to verify the model and hypothesis.The questionnaires were distributed to 400 new ventures within 8 years of their establishment nationwide.223 questionnaires were effectively recovered.SPSS23.0 and MPLUS 7.0 were used to test the collected data.The research finds that: 1)learning orientation of start-ups has a positive impact on dynamic capabilities;2)the relationship between learning orientation and dynamic capabilities in exploratory learning and exploitative learning;3)environmental uncertainty plays a positive moderating role in the influence path of exploratory learning,exploitative learning and dynamic capabilities.Based on the discussion of the empirical results,this paper not only clarifies the mechanism of learning orientation on dynamic capabilities at the organizational level,but also provides useful inspiration for the promotion of dynamic capabilities of new ventures.
