| With the process of economic globalization and the rapid economic development of China,quality of products and services gets the unprecedented attention. The level of product qualityhas become one of the decisive factors in economic and technical, which directly reflects thelevel of economic development. The improving of quality is not only an urgent need to China'scurrent economic and social sustainable development, but also is the only way for survival anddevelopment under the conditions of global competition. At the same time, the Manufacturingindustry is experienced from the industrial age into the information age, the externalenvironment of Chinese enterprise has happened series dramatic changes, such as thediversification of unified market to multiple market, the seller's market to the buyer's market,customer's demands showing characteristics of personalized and small quantities. Due to therapid technical updates, shorter products life cycle, it gives a higher requirements of ability tothe companies, especially on product quality and product credit. While traditional qualitymanagement methods and quality tools made some practical results, but in a complexenvironment to meet customer needs quickly and there is no substantial improvement, itslimitations are becoming increasingly prominent.Along with the popularity of supply chain management in enterprises, the productionoutsourcing and supply chain extension have been the significant features of product production.The production mode based on comparative advantage has not only reduced cost, but alsoincreased difficulty in quality control, resulting in weakened control of enterprises on productquality. In the supply chain environment, the quality of final product is consisted of variousquality links. Therefore, a failure in any link may lead to the quality defect in final product. As aresult, a reform should be performed on the opinion of quality management: the traditionalfocus on quality management tool and technology in single enterprise should be transferred tothe focus on quality management practice and contribution as well as communication andcoordination among supply chain member enterprises in supply chain.There are still following problems in current researches:1. The supply chain quality management has only been studied through static visual angle,without dynamics. 2. No uniform opinion has been formulated on the content of supply chain qualitymanagement.3. There is insufficient analysis on the conductive process of supply chain quality variation.4. The influence of supply chain organizational management on quality performance has notbeen made clear.5. There is insufficient quantitative analysis on relationship between supply chain qualitymanagement practices and quality performance in China.Based on the research object of supply chain oriented by customers, the new qualitymanagement method of supply chain management in view of immunology is studied to satisfyquality demand of customer and increase quality performance of product. Meanwhile, the effectof the new theoretical method in improving quality performance of product is proved throughthe data of domestic enterprises, with the following contents:A summary has been made on the current research literature on supply chain qualitymanagement. According to analysis on disadvantages and limitations of current theories, theproblems that need to be solved have been introduced. The introductions about the relevantconcepts and functions of biological immunology theory have been explained in this paper.Based on the above contents, the immunology theory has been integrated with supply chainquality management. The comparison between supply chain management network andbiological immunology network has been completed on various aspects including networkstructure, network function, and network target, resulting in feasible conclusion of supply chainquality management in view of immunology(SCQMI). Furthermore, the immunology metaphorof supply chain quality management has been concluded based on this. Based on the definitionand limitation of SCQMI, the corresponding operational mechanism and new feature have beenexpounded.Based on inherent immunity and acquisitive immunity of biological immunity, the twofunctions of biological immunity should be implemented in supply chain management.Therefore, the quality performance of product in supply chain can reach the expectation ofconsumers and maintain the level. As the functions realized through quality culture and qualityresource are the same with functions realized through inherent immunity of biological immunity,so the quality culture and quality resource are regarded as the channels to realize the immunity function. As the function of acquisitive immunity in living beings is a dynamic function, soquality immunity function of supply chain is put forwards to reflect the dynamics, leading to achannel to realize the SCQMI. The theoretical dimension of quality culture questioned bytheoretical circle and academic circle has been defined. Based on the analysis, three theoreticaldimensions of quality immunity function have been put forwards: quality recognition capacity,quality management learning capacity, and quality management creative capacity. Thecomposition and relevant relationship of elements in quality management learning capacity havebeen analyzed, and new channel for the quality recognition has been brought forwards throughmath model; the composition and relevant relationship of elements in quality managementlearning capacity have been analyzed, and importance of quality management learning onrestraining the qualitative variation transmission has been explained through math model; thecomposition and relevant relationship of elements in quality creative capacity have beenanalyzed, and the evolution and development rule of supply chain quality management practiceunder the function of immunity creative capacity has been analyzed through match model.Based on self-organization theory, the condition of acquisitive immunity in supply chainquality management has been introduced. Meanwhile, the quality of relationship between corecondition and node has been explained. According to theory of synergetics, the synergy betweeninherent immunity and acquisitive immunity in quality management has been studied.Furthermore, the relationship model between quality performance of final product andacquisitive immunity, inherent immunity, as well as relationship quality among supply chainorganizations has been concluded, and the hypothesis on relationship among various elementshas been put forwards.SPSS17.0 and AMOS18 has been applied to measure relevant literature. According todesigned questionnaire, sample data from 296 enterprises in Shandong, Jilin, and Guangdonghas been collected to testify the hypothesis of the model. According to credibility and validitytest, descriptive statistic analysis and SEM on the sample data, the verification has beenperformed on relevant hypothesis. After the relevant variables are rejected, the SEM has beentestified again and the new model has been modified. According to the hypothesis verification,the quality culture with quality inherent immunity has significant positive influence on qualityperformance, and the quality culture with quality acquisitive immunity has significant positive influence on quality performance. The node relationship of supply chain has significant positiveinfluence on quality performance. Both node relationship of supply chain and quality inherentimmunity has certain influence on quality acquisitive immunity.Seen from theoretic angle, the supply chain quality management and quality performancehas been always paid great attention to by scholars. However, few researches focus on dynamicangle. Meanwhile, as the research of SCQMI is a brand-new field, it is very necessary to givequantitative analysis on SCQMI and quality performance. Furthermore, it is also of theoreticalvalue to define vaster performance research on the whole supply chainSeen from realistic angle, the feasibility of SCQMI has been studied profoundly in thispaper. As a result, the enterprises can know another new channel to improve their productquality. According to analysis on the implementation channel and theoretical dimension ofinherent immunity and acquisitive immunity in supply chain management, enterprises can knowthe way to construct the quality immunity system. With the analysis on the relationship betweenSCQMI and quality performance, enterprises can know how to improve its quality performancein view of immunity, resulting in a conclusion full of realistic meaning.
