Taiwan Information and Electronic Industry is under new challenge such as the market competition and product innovation. In order to tackle these challenges, the management of larger entities frequently seeks solutions in all aspects. The common solutions are re-organisation, new product development and the introduction of new technology.The ignorance of implementing business solutions in time tends to jeopardize a enterprise's development. In this study I shall explore the issues that companies of Taiwan Information and Electronic Industry often face. Subsequently, I shall provide a methodology or an analysis of a case study to explore the possible solutions for the enterprises.This study explores the potential external pressure that the Taiwan Information and Electronic Industry is currently undergoing. The management board members are advised to take an innovative approach toward their leadership. The methodology I have used for this research is by conducting interviews with the IC designers, electronic component distributors, Taiwan Information and Electronic assembly manufacturing industry and brands,, other four types of electronic information industry groups as well as thirty-six senior executives from twelve leading OTC companies.250copies of the questionnaires were distributed to a total of thirty-four OTC companies of the information and electronic industry. Utilising SPSS19.0as the tool of the data analysis, based on research objectives and the needs of hypotheses test,173completed copies of the questionnaires were used as the data analysis methods including descriptive statistics, reliability and validity analysis, correlation analysis, ANOVA, regression analysis and other methods. It is aimed to summarise and analyse quantitative information provided by the senior leaders in order to explore the implementation of positive changes in leadership and the operating performance of the designated improved level. This study is based on the'Industrial Smile Curve'Theory proposed by Mr. Stan Shih, the founder of Acer in1992. Mr. Stan Shih suggests a'Changing Leadership Roadmap', which encompasses a mode of the organizational change followed by four different types of entities within the IC designers, electronic component distributors, Taiwan Information and Electronic Industry assembly manufacturing companies and brands,. This theory helps companies to tackle challenges and generates key factors of the success.
