It is high time for Chinese automobile industry to upgrade to develop healthly. Through study automobile enterprise, this thesis analyzes the micro mechanism of upgrading of automobile industry, and build upgrading mechanism modle, put forword automobile industry upgrading path, so that broaden the production-driven Global Value Chain theory. At the same time, this thesis takes Xiaolan automobile city as the object to do case study, and put forword automobile upgrading countermeasures, serves for local enconomy and enterprise. Therefore, this study is significant.Firstly, the thesis analyze the develop model of Chinese automobile industry, it is necessary to upgrade Chinese automobile industry. Then study upgrade model of oversea automobile industry, then Get inspiration from it. Then put forword the connotation of Chinese automobile industry upgrading and give analytical framework of this study.From the micro view, the capability of enterprise has its character and affact industry upgrading.the thesis makes empirical study on automobile industry by AMOS. And draw the conclusion that knowledge innovation capability is the most important capability of automobile enterprise, which affects positively the value of global value chain of automobile enterprise through the learn mechanism and capability develop mechanism. The learn mechanism affects capability develop mechanism positively, at last it can improve the value of global value chain of automobile enterprise.After study Industrial Cluster, this thesis find automobile industrial cluster has its character, which can bring Agglomeration effect and synergistic effect.based on cluster effect, this thesis put forward the concept model of Chinese automible industry from middle view, then analyze middle mechanism of automobile industry upgrading from dynamic mechanism and implementation mechanism. Technology invocation and system invocation is the main driving force, through the function of cooperation mechanism and knowledge management mechanism, therefore optimize the Global Value Chain. At last, this thesis takes the Xiaolan automobile city to analyze the effect factor, the dynamic mechanism and implementation mechanism.Industry policy affect technology innovation and building Global Value Chain, To study Chinese automobile industry by system transition theory, this thesis put forword macro mechanism conceptual model of automobile industry upgrading, then analyze macro mechanism from mechanism of action and evolution mechanism.
