The Construction And Development Countermeasures Study On Southwest Regional Commercial And Trade Center

This thesis probes into the objective situations of commercial and trade center development in southwest areas on the conditions of WTO and Western Development of China, and into the developmental trends of Chinese and world commercial and trade centers. It recalls the theories about business center, regional division of labor, coordinative development and business economic development; in the perspectives of structural system and functions, the paper defines " the Commercial and Trade Centers "(CTC), "Regional Commerce " and its scopes and basis. According to "the requirements of economic coordinative development, it deepens the understanding the "the development of southwest regional commercial and trade center" and puts forward the following conclusions and suggestions.The main conclusions of the dissertation are as follows:1. The goal of commercial business centers is to realize commercially and economically coordinative economic development in the south-west areas. The construction of CTC is regional division of labor and cooperation on the basis of development of commerce and business. The building of CTC is to systematically plan CTC and the networks of commercial establishment, design the developmental directions and focus, bring respective comparative advantages into play, improve the distribution of resources, drive the development of commercial and economic industry. The goal of CTC in the south-west is to realize commercially and economically coordinative economic development in the southwest areas.2. The building of regional commercial and business centers needs the corresponding natural and social conditions. The conditions needed for the building of commercial and business centers in a central city include: (1) Natural geographical conditions, including regions, earth and travel resources; (2)Social and economic conditions, including economy, the scale of city, population, market, transportation, policy and culture; the conditions includes the primary conditions of commercial and business development, funds and market. The primary conditions include the degrees, relative industry, infrastructures and kinds of complementary equipment.3. The premise of CTC is the coordinative development among the commerce and business industries. Advanced commerce and business industry is the premise for the building of commercial and business centers. Only if breaking through the limits of regional administrationand strengthening the coordinative development can the five provinces enhances the competence of commercial and business industries and face with the challenges of foreign companies after china' entry into WTO.4. The required conditions of CTC are to build regional common marketplaces. The building of regional common marketplace is one of the basic goals and required conditions of CTC. The roles of this includes: (l)Advance the building of networks of CTC; (2)Decrease the cost of adjustment of industrial structures, public resources and flowing resources purchase; (3)Improve the development of economic cycles and city planning; (4) As the platform of coordinative development5. The co-operations with neighboring areas can enlarge the regional integrative market.6. The CTC can optimize the structures of industry in the southwest regions. Southwest areas is one of the poverty-striking areas, its economic structure is typically dualistic. The CTC can not only advance the commerce and business and improve the proportions, but also bring so much employment and thus have an effect on the optimization of industrial structures.7. Regional construction and development of CTC should place emphasis on the intelligence technology (IT). The IT is widely used in the circulation of commerce and business and speeds development and adjustment of the commerce and business.
