In the great background of implementing sustainable developmentstratagem and insisting on developing circular economy in China, Thedomestic and overseas research outcomes were summarized and their theoriesand practices were also utilized in this research. In order to establish andperfect the economy system fitting our country, the subject system of ReverseLogistics which suits the situation of our country was explored elementarily inthis dissertation. The problems of decision-making in the programming ofReverse Logistics Network were divided into three lays including stratagems, tactics and operations. Several pivotal problems of them are investigatedsystemically. The main contributions of this paper included the followingpoints:1. The theoretical framework of Reverse Logistics was presented bystudying the relations of various activities in Reverse Logistics. Thus, the research of Reverse Logistics was structured and standardized.2. The network design of Reverse Logistics in the uncertain conditionwas quantitatively investigated by employing the methods of mixinginteger linear programming (MILP), stochastic integer programmingand continuous approximation. The model of continuous-discretecombined distribution was presented, which has theoreticalsignificances in instructing enterprises to design Reverse Logisticsnetwork conveniently and flexibly.3. Decision-makings of outsourcing Reverse Logistics were studiedfrom two aspects---the logistics providers and the logistics customers.Analytic Network Process (ANP) was used to investigate how toselect the Reverse Logistics providers for the first time. Moreover, the rules how the various decision-making factors affect thedecision-making results were explored by empirical study andsensitivity analysis.4. How the distortional information impacts the forecast of productreturns was investigated. Good forecast effects of return distributionmethod applied to forecast the levels of products reclaiming weretestified in theory. Furthermore, theoretical guarantee for using thismethod in practice was brought forward.5. Benchmarking based on gap analysis is proposed firstly to assess thepractical environmental performance of Reverse Logistics in theexisting supply chains. Research outcomes were testified by anempirical study in this dissertation. Benchmarking based on gapanalysis can be used to evaluate the performance of Reverse Logisticsand help enterprises optimize their business process to promoteenvironmental performance.6. The execution of Reverse Logistics in two lays---the enterprise andthe society was investigated. Supply chain operation reference model(SCOR) was introduced, which was able to conduct enterprisesintegrate reverse logistics into the supply chain management. Theprinciple that Reverse Logistics promotes the development of circulareconomy was explained.
