Regional Perspective Of China's Economic Growth And Volatility

Searching and holding the feature and law of Chinese economic growth andfluctuation from regional level is of great significant for enriching and perfectingrelated theory system, enhancing the aiming, efficiency and scientific guidance ofmacro-controlling policy.This paper focuses of two points: one is the overall feature and law of Chineseregional economic growth and fluctuation. The other is causes on it. The totalframework consists of three parts.The first section is introduction and documentary summary.The second section including the third and fourth chapters explains the featureand law of Chinese regional economic fluctuation. Guided by the theory on economicgrowth, fluctuation and regional economic, this paper, with Granger causality test,VAR (vector auto regression), IRF (impulse response function) and such as means inmodern metrological economics, respectively make a quantitative analysis to thefeature, mutual shocks and influence between GDP growth and fluctuation of thewhole nation and different regions including the Southeast, Northeast, Middle andWest for more than 50 years. After summing up and finding the laws contained in it,the paper draws the overall outline of the feature and relation of Chinese regionaleconomic growth and fluctuation. Then, using the analogous means, it also analysesthe fluctuating feature and mutual shocks of elements composing GDP, just likeinvesting, consuming and other expanding means in different regions. On the basis ofit, the paper depicts thoroughly the feature of regional economic growth andfluctuation. From the above studying, some results can be obtained.The third section including the fifth, sixth and seventh chapters analyses thecauses for the feature of Chinese regional economic growth and fluctuation. Thestudying contents cover international and interregional trade, trans-regional elementflowing, regional diversity of reforming process for marketing, acting mechanism andeffects that the evolution of Chinese regional developing strategy has on regionaleconomic growth and fluctuation.
