The Impacts Of System Supply Differentiation On Regional Economic Divergence

Distinct regional economic divergence exists in the economy development of China today, and the divergence tends to enlarge. How to reduce the regional economic divergence has become an important task to achieve the sustainable growth of economy in China, also a strategic challenge to help western China to fast the economic development speed while breaking away from backwardness. In terms of historic evolution, the intensity of regional economic divergence between eastern and western China took place in the process of system change, characterized by correcting traditional system errors and carrying out system innovation. Through checking the regional divergence change, regional economic divergence can be tracked in the change of government system supply differentiation, hence demonstrating the regional divergence change in China matches the government system supply and policy launching. So, the paper, starting from an important variable of system, focuses on the regional economic divergence in China, showing the reason of regional economic standstill and growth in eastern and western China by making use of system economics and regional system supply differentiation theory. Although the study is not too profound, it is of importance in terms of seeking the reason of the formation of regional economic differentiation and solving unbalanced problems in regional economic development in theory and practice.The paper consists of five parts: the first is a summary of relevant theory about system supply differentiation brings impacts on regional economic divergence, system economics, especially the theory on system, system evolution and system supply, and research on regional economic divergence home and abroad has been studied. The second part focuses on the theory of system supply differentiation influences the regional economic divergence. The definition of system supply, the relation between system supply and change, the model of demand created by system supply, the difference of system supply, the characteristics, classification about system supply, characteristics of regional economic divergence and the impacts of system supply on the regional economic divergence have been studied.
