Research On Modeling And Improvement Methods For KM-Oriented Knowledge Process

With the acceleration of global economic integration and development of information and network technology, we have entered into a new era. Meanwhile, human's activities of information management have also entered into the era of knowledge management. Knowledge process is considered the core of the knowledge management in enterprise: recently, related research and practice on knowledge process have drawn attention from researchers and practioners. Firstly, knowledge can bring the competitive advantage to organization. Secondly, knowledge management research and application have got booming development in order to fully develop and make use of knowledge resource. Thirdly, knowledge management carry on with such knowledge process as knowledge acquiring, knowledge sharing, knowledge application and innovation and is to some extent to maintain the balance in these four kinds of core activities. Therefore, it is very necessary to research on the theory framework of knowledge process as well as modeling and improvement of knowledge process.The research in this paper focuses on the theory framework of knowledge process and methodology of modeling and improvement of knowledge process. The main objective and significance of this research thesis lies in: one side, expanding the concept of the knowledge process to support knowledge management efficiently. on the other side, proposing the theory framework to analyze systemically knowledge process, to provide a public platform for researchers and facilitate related practice and. Finally, giving the methods and tactics of auditing, modeling, improvement and evaluation of knowledge process, which would lay the foundation of related theory research and practice.This thesis finishes the work in the following four aspects:Firstly, the comment of relevant research on knowledge process and the definition of knowledge process are presented. The concept of knowledge process is introduced from diverse angles. Research developments of auditing, modeling, improvement and evaluation of knowledge process are discussed. On the basic of redefining knowledge process universally, analyzing the main kinds, characteristic and key attributes, introducing the difference and relation between knowledge process and knowledge flow, and further business process.
