In the perspective of basic principle of software engineering and the latest international research on software life-cycle model, the article discusses comprehensively the risk management problems we might encounter with during the large-scale IP software developing process. Integrated with systematic theory, methodology and operational research, the author puts forward a new study case for software life-cycle model, that is, software life-cycle model based on risk management.The first of the author elaborated the topic origin, selection foundation and the methodology for this essay' s studying structure. It is emphasized that the topic will have effectively positive influence on promoting our software industry' s maturity and development as well as enhancing the project management.Then the author wants to study the ways in the process of researching software life-cycle model.
