Now the setup of state-owned enterprises, multinational corporations and private enterprises sharing Chinese market has formed. But because of transition economy and the market characteristic of great inequalities of competition positions and strength among different market enterprises, and the unconstitution of antitrust law, competition relations among different market enterprises and market conduct in China will be more complicated. So there will be more possibility of coming forth monopoly conduct and monopoly structure during market restructuring.This dissertation sets a monopoly theory base for transition stages, namely, interaction mechanism of property rights structure, market structure and market conduct. Then bases itself upon china's market characteristic and brings forward ternary market structure from the perspective of market enterprise structure, namely, administrative monopoly, economic monopoly and excessive competition, to analyze competition relations among different market enterprises. State-owned enterprises and multinational corporations occupy dominate positions because of their own competition advantages then joint ventures and mergers between them will make a great impact on market competition. So this dissertation starts with game of joint ventures between large-and-medium scale state-owned enterprises and large-scale multinational corporations, analyzes the effects of joint ventures between them on competition space of private enterprises and private enterprises'strategic reaction to the effects, analyzes the evolving of their own competition advantages during joint ventures between state-owned enterprises and multinational corporations, analyzes game among different market enterprises and government and policy preference's effects on competition relations among different market enterprises by setting models. The conducts figuring for monopoly position will impel market structure evolving internally by affecting competition relations among different market enterprises. So this dissertation analyzes the evolving trends of market structures from administrative monopoly to economic monopoly, from excessive competition to oligopoly, and the market dynamic equilibria. In order to test and summarize some results of these theories and models this dissertation gives a empirical study and a case study. Finally, this dissertation ulteriorly analyzes monopoly and competition of Chinese ternary market structure under international background.The main viewpoints of this dissertation are as follows: first, in the stage of transition, the dissimilarity of different market enterprises'competition positions and character conduced to form ternary market structure, namely, state-owned enterprises'administrative monopoly, multinational corporations'economic monopoly, and private enterprises'excessive competition sharing Chinese market. Second, before eliminating administrative monopoly, joint ventures between large-and-medium scale state-owned enterprises and large-scale multinational corporations will crowd out private enterprises. Third, if multinational corporation has advantage of cost over state-owned enterprise, that enables it to transfer and seize state-owned enterprise's advantages of administrative monopoly. Fourth, policy preference conduce to bring crowding-out effect and ratchet wheel effect, and worsens the inequalities in competition positions of different market enterprises. Fifth, the mass entry of multinational corporations bring change of market competition situation, then will impel inherently market structures evolving from administrative monopoly to economic monopoly and from excessive competition to oligopoly.
