According to the status quo of marketing executive power of Chinese joint-stock commercial banks and several theories like Execution and Executive Power, Organization Behavior, Business Process Reengineering(BPR), and Human Resources Allocation, the dissertation systematically explores the sustained improvement of the executive power of Chinese joint-stock commercial banks by using both qualitative and quantitative analysis, and from both theoretical and applicable perspectives.Firstly, there is a review of the research done by the scholars home and broad concerning execution and executive power, and the theory of executive power and the connotation of marketing shape a redefinition of the concept of marketing executive power and marketing executive power of commercial banks. Secondly, there is a survey of the status quo of Chinese joint-stock commercial banks. And based on qualitative analysis as well as quantitative analysis like Relativity Analysis, Factors Analysis and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), the five core determinants in marketing executive power of Chinese joint-stock commercial banks are identified. They are executive power of intermediate and top managers, marketing executive culture, marketing organization, arrangement of core marketing personnal and performance evaluation and incentive mechanism. Thirdly, an executive-oriented reconstructure analysis is carried out on three core processes in marketing execution of Chinese joint-stock commercial banks, and it's pointed out that the degree of connection of the three core processes is the core part of marketing executive power, and that executive-oriented reconstructure of three core processes is central to the sustained improvement of marketing executive power. Fourthly, from the dimensions of the result and the process of marketing execution, AHP, Factor Analysis, Delphi Expert Investigate, together with the findings above, an evaluating index system is set up for marketing executive power of Chinese joint-stock commercial banks. An approach to doing evaluation is proposed, via which evaluation and ranking is done for 10 joint-stock commercial banks for 2005.Finally, the conclusion above is applied to the case study of INDUSTRIAL BANK CO. LTD to discover the strategies for the sustained improvement of its executive power.
