In recent years, logistics industry has attracted much attention from all over the world. With the development of national economy, it is objectively required that logistics industry to be prosperous and stable, and to be directed by universal and standing theory. However, at present, the theories of logistics, most of which were concluded by experts from their work, are still in the beginning stage and need to be perfected. Therefore, research on logistic basic theories is of important academic value and practical significance.Based on previous scientific researches, this dissertation systematically stated the definition and mathematical modeling of logistics, summarized the logistic unit grid theory, analyzed the state of unit grid node, and demonstrated the development of the queue theory in the logistic unit grid theory and the application of the logistic unit grid theory in urban passenger transport. It described the mechanism of logistic unit grid through urban passenger transport, and effectively formulated the model of queue service system which is easy to understand, and expanded the implied meaning of logistics. Also, It establishes a generating function of random network node and carrier, formed finite and infinite recursion equations, and described the time distribution on logistic network. In addition, it studied the time distribution spent on such processes as parking, waiting, servicing by means of Laplace Transforms; deduced the Little formula for the logistic unit grid queue by means of queue theory to the necessary and sufficient conditions for the stability of random network system, which not only developed the queue theory but also provided the means to establish logistic unit grid theory. It concerned all cases of logistic unit network, including make integrating event flow as poisson flow, carrier as poisson flow, k-th Erlang (k→∞) as regulating flow(equal-interval flow). The logistic process is Markovian arrival process, defining the time integrating event arrives as poisson flow, the time carrier arrives as adjusting flow, the point carrier arrives as the regenerating point. The generating function X(1)(te±0) and the necessary and sufficient condition for the stability of random network system were deduced from Markovian arrival process. At last, the dissertation takes urban passenger transportation as an example to further illustrate and apply theories.
