A Study About The Impetus Mechanism Of Industry Cluster In Northeast Of China

In the developing progress of today's world economy, the industry clusters has become a focus of attention as an industrial organization which implement the development of the regional economy.Industry cluster can create competitive advantages, promote the upgrading of the industrial structure, improve the efficiency of transaction,reduce transaction costs, get access to external economy, and promote the technological innovation in enterprises, and then impel the development of the regional economy. It is proved well that the industry clusters play a great role in the growth of regional economy. More and more domestic and foreign experts and scholars pay attention to and agree on it. Falling on the occasion of northeast revitalization, researches and explorations of new developing strategies and modes for the industry cluster which satisfy the needs of development are particularly important and urgent.This dissertation adheres to the unity of standardized research and empirical study, coalescent of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. In the premise of analyzing theories and practices about industrial cluster development, and on the basic of many scholars'researches, we construct dynamic mechanism of industry cluster from both levels of internal and external, using it as the background of theoretical analysis, analyze the dynamic factors of industry clusters'development in the northeast. Meanwhile, combined with case study, we explore the advantages and disadvantages of development of industry clusters in northeast, and put forward the strategy, modes and policy direction for the development of industry clusters in the northeast region. It is the part of the literature review. This chapter comments on domestic and foreign theories about industry cluster, and explains its concept, classification, mechanism and the theories for the development of industry clusters and so on. We also point out the limitations of some theories, and emphasize the significance of further researches about the industry cluster to the development of the regional economy, providing a theoretical basis for this paper.Chapterâ…¢analyzes the impetus to the development and patterns of typical industry clusters around the world. This is the practical part of this paper. It focuses on introducing the development situation, main impetus factors and the model of development of the five typical regional industry clusters domestic and abroad. Owning to different industry characteristics and environment, each regional industry cluster has adopted different modes of development, but successful industry clusters share the same basic conditions, which provide us valued experience.Chapterâ…£constructs the impetus mechanism for the development of industry cluster. This is the theoretical part of this paper. Making a summary of the existing theories of industry cluster, we suggest the impetus mechanism for the development of industry cluster from the levels of internal and external of the cluster. The thesis shows that the impetus mechanism for the development of industry cluster includes endogenous dynamic mechanism and exogenous dynamic mechanism. Endogenous dynamic mechanism includes external economic, industrial value chain, social capital and networks, cluster technology innovation and so on; exogenous dynamic mechanism includes the facilitating acts of the government, external competition, regional innovation system environment and cultural elements. The elements within the system influence the formation and development of industrial clusters through direct or indirect means, forming competitive advantage of industry clusters and promoting the escalation of the industry cluster. The analysis in this chapter provides theoretical guidance for the industry cluster impetus in the northeast region.Chapterâ…¤is the empirical analysis of this article, which analyzes the industry cluster impetus of northeast China. On the basis of prior theoretical analysis, we take specific analysis on the factors affecting the industry cluster impetus of the northeast. Firstly we describe the state of development of the manufacturing sector in the northeast; combined with the status of manufacturing sector concentration, reveal the specialized features of manufacturing industry in the northeast regional. And then analyze the endogenous and exogenous dynamic mechanism systematically, identifying the advantages and disadvantages of developing industry clusters in the northeast to provide some practical evidence for the strategy of the industry cluster in the northeast areas.Chapter VI is the individual study of this article which studies the case of the automobile industry in Changchun, through actual interviews, questionnaires and SPSS, we assess the impetus factors and the impact of automobile industry cluster in the northeast, and draw corresponding conclusions which proves the analysis above.Chapter VII suggests the mode of development for the industry clusters in northeast and the measures of regulation and control for the government which is the concluding part of this paper. Considering the analysis above, we point out the developing strategy of industry clusters in northeast China, the main choice of the industry cluster modes and the related support from the government in respect of policy, legislation and various services.
