With rapid change of environment and information technology, supply chain has been a mode for modern companies to adapt for competition environment. However, collaboration relation among companies in supply chain is facing serious challenges because of partners' opportunism and poisonous behaviors. Therefore, collaboration trust in supply chain is viewed as a central problem for discussion. The study begins with the analysis of trust changement in the evolvement of collaboration relation in supply chain on the basis of dynamic trust theory and literatures about institution-based trust, information sharing, and specific asset investment. Influential factors which exert dynamic discriminative influence on collaboration trust in supply chain are proposed. Theory model and corresponding research hypothesis are developed. Futhermore, the research methods is used in the study follows, and then, the findings with the empirical results are summarized. Management strategies are proposed accordingly. This study is organized as follows:(1) The study reinforces the dynamic theory of collaboration trust in supply chain. According to the existing typical theory about dynamic trust and accompanying the research background of supply chain, the study firstly present a research guide of collaborative relation in supply chain which is the dynamic process of collaboration trust in supply chain, learning-developing-identification. The study then explains the evolving process of collaboration trust in supply chain in detail and proposes the object, bases, and central types of trust of collaboration trust in supply chain.(2) The study proposes a dynamic frame including institution-based trust, information sharing, specific asset investment, collaboration trust in supply chain, and aspiration to repeat cooperation. Structural equation modeling (SEM) is used to describe the study frame. SEM explains the path relationship among institution-based trust, information sharing, specific asset investment, collaboration trust in supply chain, and aspiration to repeat cooperation. The difference of path relationship indicates deep-seated relation and dependence among factors.(3) The study empirically tests the influential effects which institution-based trust, information sharing, specific asset investment react on collaboration trust and aspiration to repeat cooperation in supply chain. Factor analysis method and SEM is used to analyze 318 subjects. Spss.11.0 is used to data characteristic description and exploratory factor analysis while AMOS4 is used to confirmatory factor analysis and fit index estimation for measure model and structure model.(4) The study presents the empirical results of relations among institution-based trust, information sharing, specific asset investment, collaboration trust in supply chain, and aspiration to repeat cooperation. Then it discusses the meanings of structure path relation, problems, and the reasons why some hypothsis have not been tesed. On the basis of conclusion discussion, the study proposes several management strategies and advices including building strict institution-based trust, developing safe information sharing strategy, and exerting reasonably specific asset investment strategy in order to cultivate, develop and stabilize collaboration trust in supply chain.
