The dissertation, based on the systematic analyses of the historic course, its trend and law of Chinese urbanization development, discusses the historical clue of our farmers' loss of their land in our country. It explains the social problems resulting from the loss of land from macroscopic and microscopic different aspects and discovers the concrete reasons for the loss. The dissertation applies the Marxism on the urbanization, the land property right, the land rent and soil-rent value and so on the theories concerned to analysis of our country's land system, the compensation in drafts, the ways of placement, and social security systems, and explores the systematic arrangement of the farmer who lose their land in order to provide the theoretical and practical diagnosis basis for the solutions to the problems..The dissertation primarily consists of six Chapters:Chapter One is an introduction of urbanization and problems of farmers' loss of land including the outline of urbanization, historical inspection of farmers losing their land and the current situation in our country, the historical evolution in the influence of the urbanization advancement in our country on the farmers losing their land, regular summary of the appearance of the farmers and its evolution and the analysis on the present situation of the farmers.Chapter Two introduces the Marxism urbanization and the theories concerned about farmers' loss of their land. It lays a solid theoretical foundation for the analysis and solutions of farmers' loss of land in our country on the basis of analyzing the urbanization thoughts put forward by classic writers and party's leader collective of the third generation and the comprehensive explanation of the Marxism land rent, the soil-rent value theory and the land property right theory.Chapter Three analyzes the problems resulting from the loss of the farmers' land urbanization advancement in our country. It points out the fact that the dual structure of city and countryside is the root of farmer's problems based on the analysis of the characteristics of the dual structure between Chinese city and countryside and the barriers of the structure and the farmer's benefit compensation. It is proposed that the imperfect countryside land property right system is its systematic root, and that the systematic flaws of countryside land property right and the limitations of the countryside household undertaking responsibility system in our country are analyzed systematically. It is also pointed out that the system of taking over farmer's land is imperfect; the farmer cannot share the benefit during the course of the land non-agriculturalization and the urbanization which will revalues farmer's land so the existing compensation placement maintains farmer's sustainable livelihood with difficulty. The social security systems of our country are not perfect so that the status differences between the farmer and citizen repel the farmers outside the social security system, which is objective. Finally it points out that the poor cultural quality of the farmers losing their land sets up a barrier to the protection of their right.Chapter Four points out that the premise of solution to the problems is to deepen the countryside land system reform. The basic thoughts about system reform in farmland property right of our country are put forward. It is thought that the land pasts is the key solution to the farmers' problems. The stable household undertaking system and the mechanism of perfect land pasts needs to be carried out in order to explain that the reform of taking over the farmer's land should be began from its procedures and laws and the new solutions should be accompanied by the systematic reform.Chapter Five is designed to find out that the compensation placement way to maintain the farmers' sustainable livelihood is the main solution to the farmers' problems. In view of the experience of the systems of taking over land and compensation abroad, it points out that the core of the choice of the compensation placement policy should be focused on the sustainable development of the farmers losing their land and that the idea should be set up that guarantee the farmer's sustainable development. The farmer's multi-channel employment should be encouraged and supported in order to maintain the sustainability. The conditions provided by government allow farmers losing their land to have their income as a property. The reasonable compensation standards should be established and the compensation should be increased. The compensation placement way should be diversified. The flexible and diverse compensation placement ways should be adopted to distribute the drafts of the compensation rationally and finally to perfect the legal relief system performed during the process of the placement of taking over the farmer's land.Chapter Six points out that the key solution of the farmer's problems is to integrate the farmers losing their land into urban social security system. The elementary social security theories are introduced, including the basic meaning of social security and its content, the formation and the development of the western social security theory, the Marxism social security theory and its present situation in our country and others. It is proposed that the reasonable social security system for the farmers losing their land should be constructed to advances the development of social security systems for the fanners.
