Research On Sustainable Development Of Construction Enterprises Based On Core Competence

The annual compound growth rate of Architectural Added Value reached 17% from 2001 to 2007 in China. Construction industry not only is main contributions to GDP and labor employment, but also plays an increasingly important role in promoting economic growth and all-round development of society, which is becoming the pillar industry of national economy. And in the environment of resource-saving and environment-friendly society, Construction Enterprises is facing the enormous challenge and pressure, that are not only seeking for Survival and Development with increasingly intense competition on the domestic and international market, but also utilizing resources rationally and constructing an friendly environment. When the development of Construction Enterprises is at the Crossroad, the best way to come out the predicament is to enhance core competitiveness and implement sustainable development strategy for Construction Enterprises.It can be said that Core Competence is the necessary condition of enterprise sustainable development, considering from a strategic point of the relationship between construction enterprise's core competitiveness and sustainable development. Enterprises Core Competence plays a very important role for enterprise sustainable development, whether enterprise confrontational competition or enterprise cooperative competition. Core Competence that brings out sustainable profit for enterprise is formed through enterprises accumulation gradually with their own learning, which is hardly imitated or replicated by competitors. The construction enterprises that implement sustainable development strategy could get an advanced level of return on investment over a long period of time compared with other competitors. The continuing advantage of the enterprises competitiveness that is determined by the core competitiveness has become the core of long-term performance.In view of this, this paper uses multiple regression analysis and other knowledge of mathematical statistics to analyze the level of development and competitiveness, and introduces the contribution rate and cobb-douglas production function to study deeply the level of production and development for domestic construction enterprises, combining with the construction industry enterprise data through the collection, collation, calculation of index of construction industry enterprise. This paper points out some important problems in the process of internationalization that China's construction enterprises are facing. On the basis, the author analyzes rational game of domestic construction enterprises on the domestic and international market, combining the reality of the development of domestic construction enterprises and using game theory. The construction enterprises could keep an active position only when they understand the rules of the construction market and grasp the principle of competition in the game. But the key to maintain sustainable development for construction enterprises is to exactly identify their own core competencies and to establish a set of evaluation system of core competence for themselves, and then to cultivate their own core competitiveness. Therefore, this paper proposes the method of game evaluation which evaluates construction enterprises objectively and provides the basis for corporate strategy.In order to achieve sustainable development, Chinese construction enterprises must continuously cultivate and enhance their core competitiveness. Therefore, this paper puts forward internal channels and external channels to enhance core competitiveness of enterprises, in the last part, this paper make an empirical analysis to show that the study of sustainable development for enterprises based on core competence has a very important practical significance.
