With rapid development of economy, the dependence of human society on energy is enhanced, energy demand increases continuously. The conflicts between supply and demand of energy appear in many countries, because of regional differences of resource geological condition and international energy market environment. This restricts obviously the development of economy of these countries. Furthermore the energy-environment problems, coming from negative influence of the process of energy consumptions, have become the most important source of environmental pollution all over the world. Against this background, how to coordinate the relations among energy, economy and environment systems, has become essential for sustainable development of human society.This paper, based on theories of Sustainable Development, Ecological Economics and Energy Economics, aiming at revealing the relations and remaining problems among energy, economy and environment systems in our country, includes three research parts.(1) On basis of analyzing the influence factors on economy increase and the relation between energy consumption and economy development, this paper constructs a Translog Production Function with energy consumption considered, by comparing common Production Functions such as C-D, CES, VES, TPF. Then brings forward the method of calculating the contribution rate of factors of production from the Translog Production Function. Finally analyzes the relations between economy increase and factors of production, especially energy consumption, in our country.(2) On basis of analyzing the concept of energy efficiency and the status of energy efficiency in our country, a method for estimating efficiency of factors of production is presented in this paper, based on the theory of production frontier. This method uses ratio of optimum input level to factual input level to describe efficiency of factors of production. Then the efficiencies of energy consumption, capital stock and labor in 30 regions of China in 2005 are estimated through DEA analysis. Finally the 30 regions are sorted into high-efficiency regions, mid-efficiency regions and low-efficiency regions, according to the results above, through cluster analysis.(3) The environment influence of energy consumption is researched by using ecological footprint method in this paper. The ecological footprint except energy is calculated using output data instead of consumption data, in order to reflect the actual influence of economy development. The energy ecological footprint is calculated using consumption data stilly, with the CO2 absorption of grass considered. The rate of CO2 absorption of wood and grass is defined by carbon volume of wood and grass all over the world.
