Based on the empirical study of the acacademicians of the social sciences and humanities departments in two universities, this paper aims to explore what the ideas and ?dispositions of academic intellectuals'about copyright is like and what leads to this in China. From the perspective of conflicts between Chinese traditional culture and western intellectual property system, the previous researches on the concept of intellectuals about intellectual property right advocates that we should cultivate modern Western culture of intellectual property rights, so that the system transplanted from western world can run smoothly.However,such kind of researches ,talking culture from the point of culture itself,neglecting the perspective of social structure,can hardly anser the question what cause this and how to change it. With "Field - Habitus" approach, emphasizing the interaction between social structure and copyright culture with the theory of the academic field and reflexive sociology of Bourdieu's, this article wants to transcend the binary opposition of "culture - structure" in the study of the concept of copyright for a long time. This study found that academicians'habitus of copyright in our country was mainly determined by the location occupied by the intellecyuals and the quantitiy and structure of the capital owned by them in the paiticular academic field and the quantitative evaluation system prevailed in the field had been loaded with such powerful amount of "symbolic violence" that people might act with the logic shaped by it unconsciously ,thus leading to the alienation of their concept , behavior and strategies of copyright. The full-text is divided into six chapters:Chapter 1—"Introduction". this chapter tells us the origins of the research; compares the previous researches of the concept of copyright with this study to state the significance of it, reviews literature from four aspects,pointing out the significance of these background knowledge to this study, explains two main theoretical tools of the study,they are,the academic field and reflexive sociology theory of Bourdieu's and four core concepts of this study ,they are, copyright, copyright habitus, quantitative evaluation system, Journal symbolic capital.then it introduces the two main method of the study ,in the end ,it gives the information of the social sciences and humanities departments of the two universities surveyed and its academic evaluation system.Chapter 2—"Field of Power and Academic Field : The Coincidence between Academic autonomy,Academic Evaluation System and the Copyright System".It analyzes the autonomy of Chinese academic Field and the its coincidence relaitionship with the two major systems within it,they are, the academic evaluation system and the copyright system during the historical migration of them since libeiration from the view of the relationship between the field of power and the academic field.Chapter 3—"Class Differences: The Characteristics and Migration of academicians'copyright Habitus under Quantitative Evaluation Mechanism ". in this chapter academicians in the universities are divided into five types to analyze their copyright Habitus according to their relative objective position in the acadeimic field ,they are, masters and doctorate students, lecturers, associate professors, professors ,the study found that academicians in the same strata might have the similar habitus,however,academicians belonging to different stratas showed different features from each other.Chapter 4—"a silent Game: The relaition between capital owned by academicians and copyright hiatus of them".This chapter analyzes the diversities of copyright habitus from the view of diversities of the quantitiy and the formation of their capital owened ,It analyzes the impact of the cultural capital, social capital, economic capital, symbolic capital owned by the academicians and Matthew Effect during the capital exchange on their copyright habitus in the acadeimic field.Chapter 5—"what leads to the alienation of the copyright habitus:The relation between the dynamics of knowledge production and the academicians'motives of writing and publication ".This chapter analyzes the relaition between the dynamics of academic knowledge production guided by the Quantitative Evaluation system and what drives the academicians to write in China,The study believes that China's "Journal Recognition" dynamic mechanism of academic knowledge production has led to the alienation of copyright habitus,such as the pursuit of the pure form and level of publication, ignoring the quality of publication itself .Chapter 6—"Conclusion and discussion".This capter is the summary of this study, It also brings out some tentative suggestions on how to get rid of the "symbolic violence",so as to change the alienated habitus of Chinese academicians .
