On Technological Innovation Culture

Technological innovation culture is a kind of cultural phenomenon formed in technological innovation practice, which is guided by the values of technological innovation subjects. Due to the restriction of the research angles, the problems of technological innovation culture couldn't be studied by the academia deeply and comprehensively, which affected the efficient deployment of the technological innovation practice in Chinese enterprise.The problems of technological innovation culture are studied primarily and synthetically from the perspective of technological philosophy in this paper. The essence and characteristic of technological innovation culture are discussed. It is presented that technological innovation culture is the innovation products, institutions, and morms created in technological innovation practice. Technological innovation culture is the sum of various innovative cognitions and ideas formed in technological innovation activities. Technological innovation culture is the objectification of the essential power of innovative subjects. Technological innovation culture has the characteristics of spatio-temporal openess, subject negotiability, humanistic creativity, and unprecedented utility of technology. The origin and evolution process of technological innovation culture are discussed in detail. Technological innovation culture in spiritual mode is demonstrated from the levels of values and thinking manners of technological innovation. Technological innovation culture in institutional mode is analyzed from institutions and ethics of technological innovation. And technological innovation culture in physical mode is discussed from the innovation products and processes as cultural carriers, and from innovation brands as a cultural identification as well. Finally, the paper demonstrates the status quo and countermeasures of the construction of technological innovation culture in China.The above studies on technological innovation culture can overcome some deficiencies of the existing studies, and deepen the study on the essence of technological innovation process. It is of theoretical and practical significance to enrich and develop the cultural philosophy theory and technological innovation theory as well as to guide innovative practice in China.
