Research On The Multi-dimensional Land Use Classification System In The Perspective Of Urban And Country Planning

The current land use classification standard of our country was established in the planned economy period, improved after reform and opening, but still retain the insular and unitary characteristics which become the source of contradictions and difficulties of planning system. The classification of land use is the core of urban planning, the land use classifications in history and contemporary are closely related with national political system, historical development background, the realistic problems, and different planning thoughts. Different types of classification based on both experience and also theoretical innovation, but until now it is still lack of theory of the classification system which can make a clear explanation. For land use classification research needs to go beyond the level of experience and with the help of linguistic approach to analyze the term of “land use”, so as to construct a pervasive and systematic theoretical framework of land use classification.The dissertation is mainly divided into three parts:The first part is the history and theory study, through the study of geography, summarizes the scientific description mode of land classification, it is also the orgin of the land use classification research and the basis of the subsequent planning work. By studying the history of land use planning and the urban and rural planning, based on the description mode of land classification, summarizes the appraisive mode and prescriptive mode of land use classification, which lead the land classification based on scientific research to the land use classification based on application research.The second part is the theory construction research, pointed out that the term of “planning” includes two parts of “sense”and “gesture”, the land use classification system can be distinguished as referential, appraisive and prescriptive three modes. The three key planning process of “investigation, analysis and planning” provides the logic corresponding relation for the three modes of classification. From the perspective of logic, pointed out that the scientific land use classification should create a parallel extensible dimensions system, or leave the flexible space for new types of land use classification. Combining the three modes of land use classification, flexible classification demensions and the space grade can construct multidimensional theoretical framework of land use classification, to provide the theoretical basis for the practice of contemporary various land use classification.The third part is empirical research, based on our current land use classification standard, using the multidimensional theory to carry out empirical analysis, derived the judgment that the current land use classification standard is insular and unitary. Combining the multidimensional theory can provide practical advice for the reform of urban and country planning system.
