This study’s main line is the history of Buddhist charity, by the method ofliterature analysis, fieldwork and historical comparative analysis etc. finishing thehistory and current situation of Chinese Buddhism charitable thought and practice,Pointed out that the process of development of Buddhist charity is Chinese Buddhismcharity specialization process, then further analysis the insufficient of ChineseBuddhist charity specialization and the dimension of build specialized ChineseBuddhist charity, to explore the developing direction and the possible models of theChinese Buddhist charity in the future.To study the Chinese Buddhism charities based perspective of social services, onthe one hand, can break through the bottleneck of the development of the Buddhistcharity, on the other hand, also offer the suggestions for the charity development.Further investigate the tradition of Buddhist charity can provide certain theoreticalsupport for the development of philanthropy, and develop the Socialist charity withChinese characteristics can avoid the charity completely been Westernized.Development of Chinese Buddhism charities professionalism, transparency, promotethe Fa-rectification, and patriotism will help people identifying cults, false teaching,Buddhist charity practice model can provide a reference for the nascent Buddhistcharity organization.According to the logic of "asking problems-analysis problems-solving problems”,the thesis is divided into six parts, part I is mainly explain the concept of Buddhistcharity, social service and charitable Buddhist specialization, and the theory of theresearch based on. Try to clear definition of charity Buddhism, Considered tocontain at least several aspects of meaning,(1)Buddhist Charity is an important partof charity,(2)Altruism practice point both of modern management philosophy andphilanthropy,(3)Essentially, Buddhist Charity is religious charities. It can beunderstood as a combination of western concepts of charity, practice altruism with Buddhist cultural identity. By Buddhist groups or individuals (believers, lay) toprovide spiritual and material aspects of service to others, to preaching goal. Part IIcan be divided into Chinese Buddhism charity ideology and practice that has evolvedinto four historical periods. Clear Buddhist charity involved in social services and thesame strain of Humanistic Buddhism is the practice of Humanistic Buddhism,Buddhist charitable proposed current historical opportunity to participate in socialservices.Part III based on five indicators in angel of depression of charityspecialization, from the three aspects of the problem of insufficient specialization ofBuddhist charity. Part IV, mainly discuss the model of the Buddhist charitycommunity in other countries and regions to participate in social service, that includeEurope, America, Japan, and Taiwan’s Buddhist charity development model that helpsto facilitate charitable community service studies for Chinese Buddhism. Part V, probethe framework construction of the social service-oriented Buddhist charity mode, thefirst and foremost, the principle of Buddhist charity should be clear; Such as modernBuddhism’s dimension of human nature, supplementary-service wich subordinate tothe welfare system,"assistance and Development," Secondly, Constructed ofBuddhist charity specialized in three dimensions: Individual dimensions,organizational and ethical dimensions of institutional dimensions, then discussed eachdimension refinement for multiple targets. Part Ⅵ, the conclusion of the text,summarizes the development of three Buddhist charitable under social servicesperspective:that Shaolin mode, Shanghai Jade Buddha Temple and Xiamen concentricpattern mode Charity, discussed the relationship between Buddhist charitablethought and social work values,there is affinity of choice between the two.
