This paper focuses on the study of Chinese Communists’ecological civilization thought, then make further analysis the enlightenment and significance of Chinese characteristic socialist ecological civilization construction which benefits form the development and the progress of Communist Party’s ecological civilization thought.The development of world industrialization results in the rapid growth of the human economy. The sharp increase in wealth makes some parts of the world prospered, but at the same time, the fuel-based industrialization has caused increasingly serious ecological problems among the world. Confronts with various natural human reprisals and severe punishment, people gradually pays close attention of the global ecological problems and rising anxiety. Since the founding of Communist Party of China, the Communists insisted on putting forward important theories and finding practical approaches to solve the problems of the use of resources, environmental protection and population control. In17th Party Congress report, the General Secretary Hu Jintao proposed the demands of ecological civilization and advocated the constructing of the energy saving resources, protecting the ecological environment of the industrial structure, growth patterns, and consumption patterns.
