Anti-corruption education includes various forms of activities which aim topromote clean and honest administration. It will exert physical and psychologicalimpact on the educated; improving their understanding and help them develop astrong faith and a good habit of clean and honest administration. The anti-corruptioneducation is an important part of the punishment and prevention system in China, andalso the first thing that has to be done to prevent corruption. Anti-corruption educationto those who are party members and also leaders is an essential way to promote agood administrative atmosphere and an effective way to reduce and preventcorruption. The party’s seventh session of the Fourth Plenary Session suggestsadhering to the principle of taking both punishment and prevention. More emphasisshould be put on the prevention part. Responsibility should be taken in the field ofclean and honest administration. Fight against corruption more effectively through thecombination of education, supervision, reform and institutional innovation. Adhere tothe requirement of pragmatic and incorruptible administration for the people.Education should be carried out on the nature, atmosphere, and discipline of the party.The leaders should take the anti-corruption education through demonstration, warningand practice. The form of education should be improved to achieve better results. Thedirection of the theoretical and practical study in the field of anti-corruption educationhas been pointed out. This paper aims to analyze the nature and the meaning ofanti-corruption education, summarize the existing problems in this field, form thebasic theoretical system of China’s anti-corruption education through theoretical andpractical experiences both home and abroad, and point out the best mechanism toachieve clean and honest administration.This paper includes the introduction section, the main body and the conclusion.The introduction section includes the background, significance, the method, andthe innovative part of the research. The first chapter describes the basic theories in the field of anti-corruptioneducation. Basic concepts and the relationship between anti-corruption education andclean and honest administration are defined, and the role the anti-corruption educationplays in the clean and honest administration is emphasized. Besides, the nature of theanti-corruption education, the main object of the anti-corruption education, thecharacteristics and functions of the anti-corruption education are also analyzed.The second chapter focuses on the status quo of anti-corruption education inChina. By recalling the development of China’s anti-corruption education, all theachievements of China’s anti-corruption education are summarized. The factors thathave influences on the anti-corruption education under both the general circumstancesand the conditions of a market economy are analyzed.The third chapter compares the anti-corruption education both home and abroad.The traditional experiences of anti-corruption in China, the experiences in othercountries, and the existing experiences carried out by Communist Party are comparedto improve the anti-corruption education in the new era.The fourth chapter is about constructing the basic theoretical system ofanti-corruption education. First of all, this section set the goal of education andanalyzes the principle which anti-corruption education should adhere to. Secondly,it designs a system specification about the content system of anti-corruptioneducation,including the education of ideal and belief, political ideology and politicalbehavior education, the psychological education, the standard of education, theeducation of Party discipline and state laws, moral education, risk consciousness andhardship consciousness education. Thirdly, putting forward the education shouldadopt three kinds of basic theory,which are the method of direct education, themethod of express and induction, the method of environmental impact.The fifth chapter discusses about promoting the implementation mechanism ofanti-corruption education. First of all,it discusses and analyzes the self-discipline andheteronomy of the inner driving force-power subject.By three factors, a correctunderstanding of the relations between self-discipline and heteronomy, conformingpolitical behavior of power subject, conscientiously improving the moral cultivation, strengthen the probity and self-discipline of power subject.Secondly, analyzes anddiscusses system construction which is the important safeguard to achieveanti-corruption education. This section elaborats four measures which are imposingleading, amplifying the system of anti-corruption education,improving innovation ofeducation, constructing the evaluation mechanism of anti-corruptioneducation.Thirdly, analyzes and discusses the culture of anti-corruptioneducation.which is the important way of achieving anti-corruption education. In orderto cultivate a good social atmosphere and form a honest culture environment,there arethree ways to improve the construction of culture, carrying forward the traditionalvirtue of honesty, playing the role of" internalization", cultivating democratic andlegal civic culture of clean government.The conclusion part further emphasize the importance and summarizes aspects oftheory research about anti-corruption education.
