The tracks of the development of human society has proven that both society and country inevitably align together toward modernization and cultivates a modernity society, known as historical necessity of human culture’s development. In order overcome it traditional bondage, and realize the free-standing of self-improvement nation. In the process of modernization, China as an ’exogenous modernized country’must evaluate its past historical development trend and appreciate the transition from traditional to modern politics pattern.Before’reform and opening’, the political system suited with planned economy system was a serious impediment to the economic and social development. With the establishment of market economy system after the’reform and opening’, the development of Chinese society and the all-round reforms progressed. The modernization of Chinese politics is constantly advancing and can be reflected through the stage characteristics of its modernity growth.By tracing back to thirty years of historical’reform and opening’, this paper presents and defines the use of Modernity Growth Theory of Politics. This is to analyze the starting point, target and task, power, guiding ideology as well as the development practice of the Chinese politics modernity growth. Comprehensive and systematic study on the course of the modernity growth of Chinese politics must be made and reveal on this developing trend.
