Transition of system and East Asia issues are both the significant theoreticalquestion and realistic question. At present, East Asia enters the process of the transitionto a new system. From the perspective of the world’s trend and national interests ofChina, the future system of East Asia must be a new system of cooperate andco-prosperous. As the international situations become complicated, how to make EastAsia break the deadlock, and how to make a new era of cooperate for East Asia?Therefore, using East Asia as the study subject to the system transition under theperspective of institutionalism not only help pushing the regional integration, but alsohelp deepen the level of cooperation in East Asia.The first chapter constructed a path of analysis to the transition of internationalsystem with the logic of institutionalism. As the start point of this study, this chapteraims to define basic concepts and make a comprehensive analysis of different schools ofinstitutionalism and relative theories of international system transformation, based onthe definitions of system, international system and institution. At the mean time, thischapter will expound why the author chose institutionalism as the logic basic of the pathof international system transformation, from the perspective of the relativity betweeninternational system transformation and the institutionalism, and expound the wayhow institutionalism influence the transformation processes of international system.Base on the first chapter, this chapter constructed a framework of the transition ofinternational system in the level of institutionalism.In this analytical framework ofsystem transformation, the analytical perspective institutionalism is consist of theinternal relation of Neo-institutionalism politics and international system transformationtheories. The author proposed using international system transformation of NortheastAsia as subject, analytical perspective of institutionalism as core content to develop thesupport, motive, purpose, influence and application of international system transformation of East Asia by the influence of institutionalism, through necessarycondition, sufficient condition, evaluate standard, solving method and case analysis etc,which influenced system transformation.The third chapter expounds and analyzes the characteristics of the transition ofinternational system in East Asia, from the perspective of institutionalism.From theperspective of institutionalism, this chapter combed the history of Tributary System,Colonial System, Polar System of East Asia international system, concluded theinfluences on East Asia international system transformation by historical factors. Onthis basis, analyzing the the present status and future obstacles of East Asia systemtransformation, from the relation between power structure of the system and the existingsystem. According to the compatibility and the incompatibility of the power structureand existing system, lead to the the conclusion of the systemic characteristics of EastAsia international system.The forth chapter expounds the implementation strategy of the transition ofinternational system in East Asia under the perspective of institutionalism, combinedwith the analysis framework of system transition and the characteristics of the processof institutionalization.Related with the developing situation of East Asia, expoundedand analyzed East Asia international system from the cohesiveness, power source andthe anticipation of development of system transformation, and the perspective ofinstitutionalism. The reinforce of cohesiveness of international transformation isrepresented by the intensified controle over membership deciding, range of issues andregulations; the power source of system transformation consists of the emphasizing onthe relation of shared ideas and identity, and on the characteristic of relying on path andunexpected results coexisting while considering interests community in a certain rangeas the anticipation of development of East Asia system transformation.The fifth chapter is the application of institutionalism, in this chapter we select theconstruction of China, Japan and South Korea interests community as the case of thetransition of international system in East Asia.During the analyzing of transformationcase, in this chapter, China, Japan, South Korea interests community will be consideredas a case of institutionalism application, and put forward a institutionalization model ofconstructing interests community by analyzing its comparative advantage, historicaldevelopment and development problems. This model is consist of the start point, key part and principles of community constructing, and then constructing theinstitutionalization path of China, Japan, South Korea interests community.
