The fundamental law of the ideological and political education is one of the majorissues in the theory of ideological and political education which is concerned about itsexistence and development. With the development of the continuous practice, theideological and political education field appears many new situations and problems,which need to seek answers from the fundamental law. It is still a realistic and urgentproblem which needs to further study about what the historical position and thefundamental contradiction of ideological and political education are, which thefundamental rules of ideological and political education is, and how we create thefavorable conditions to realize the fundamental law in the social transformation andduring the reality of China dream, and then promoting the social progress and people’sall-round development.Started from the reality human, this paper examines deeply the history, thedevelopment and the trend between the ideological and political education and thesociety and the human beings from the dual perspective of the social development andhuman development. Relied on the research results achieved, the paper discusses thedefinition of the ideological and political education and its nature, analyzes theconnotation and main content of its fundamental contradiction and reveals its law. Thepaper interprets comprehensively and studies systematically the fundamental law of theideological and political education with the overall point of view and try to constructthe effective path to promote the realization of the fundamental law in the context ofcontemporary China.Based on the above understanding, this paper discusses mainly from the followingaspects:First of all, the clarify the core concept. This paper insists on a holistic view of theideological and political education and considers the ideological and politicaleducation as the social practice throughout the course of the human social developmentprocess. The ideological and political education is not only a proposition of pedagogy,but also a philosophical proposition, which is defined the value of the ideological andpolitical education from the height of the social development and human development.Meanwhile, the paper focuses on the connotation of the fundamental law and makesthe new study of its characteristics. We think that laws can be understood theimplementation of the purpose. The "purpose" is not a subjective opinion here, butcontains the conditionality of an object and the cognitive of the subject itself. Thefundamental rules of the ideological and political education that is embodied therealization of the "purpose" is not idealism, but the unity of the law and the value. It isthe value selective and the purpose of the main body that makes fundamentally thedifference from the social historical law and the natural law.Secondly, the paper establishes the logical starting point and theoreticalfoundation. The reality human is not only a history starting point generated by theideological and political education, and the logical starting point of the fundamentallaw. The ideological and political education should be based on the reality life,meeting people’s needs and developing people’s reality relationship that are itsexistence value and the ultimate goal. Only from the reality humans, rather than theabstract humans, can we reveal scientifically the fundamental law of the ideologicaland political education.Thirdly, the paper analysis deeply the fundamental contradiction of theideological and political education and reveals the main content of the fundamentallaws. The fundamental law of the ideological and political education is reflected thecontradiction movement of the ideological and political education. We should revealsthe fundamental law through the fundamental contradiction movement of theideological and political education. The fundamental contradictions of the ideologicaland political education is the movement process between the ideological and politicaleducation and the social development, and the ideological and political education andthe human development. Therefore, this paper puts forward that the essence of thefundamental rule is to promote the all-round social progress, and promote the man’sall-round development. The law is administrative. The fundamental law of the socialdevelopment belongs to the primary level of the law and the fundamental law of theideological and political education belongs to the second-level of the law which isbelow the law of the social development.Finally, the paper constructs the effective path to realizes the fundamental law ofthe ideological and political education. The practice of socialism with Chinesecharacteristics provides the realistic conditions for the realization of the fundamentallaw of the ideological and political education. The ecological civilization constructionof socialism with Chinese characteristics has laid the system and cultural environmentfor the realization of the fundamental law of the ideological and political education.The information civilization construction of socialism with Chinese characteristicsprovides a means of reality for the realization of fundamental law of the ideologicaland political education. The spiritual civilization construction of socialism withChinese characteristic provides a spiritual motivation for the realization of thefundamental law of the ideological and political education.
