The foundation of leisure is culture while the soul of leisure is aesthetics. China is just on the corner of the transformation period of consumption society. In view of that, the thesis discussed the leisure consumption and the interactive relationship between the leisure consumption and aesthetics. The hypothesis is:by construction of aesthetic culture, leisure consumption of Chinese society can be realized the target of social integration and can serve for the construction of socialism core value system.Leisure consumption is everyday practice which is based on leisure choice and aesthetic experience. It is a kind of culture display and it shows the consumer’s economical and cultural difference. Based on the everyday life theories and the correlation theories, the humanism connotation and cultural meaning of leisure consumption is interpreted with the methodology of critique and presentation. The critique is based on the critique of the mass culture and consumerism. In the view of presentation, leisure should be within the domain of life aesthetics and should be constructed on the monism of mind and body. Leisure is expected to be a kind of bridge between aesthetics and practice, the bridge between aesthetics and everyday life.Chinese consumption society is characteristic of government domination. At present, the leisure consumption increases very fast, while the gross is insufficient, the per capita spending is very low and the consumption fields are quite limited. The rapid growth is up against the unbalanced development of different territory, and consumption globalization is up against the polarization of civil consumption.Chinese aesthetic culture and leisure culture are communicated with emotion and inherited by experience. Leisure consumption is important life practice and aesthetic practice and thus, it is the important part of the praxis. Its aesthetic generation is constructed in the process of leisure experience. The life world of human beings is the origin of beauty and the life practice of human beings is the creation of beauty. By practice, the aesthetic activities meet with leisure consumption activities. On one hand, the aesthetic culture is the humanism basis and appraise dimension of the leisure consumption. On the other hand, leisure consumption leads the new field and orientation for the development of aesthetic culture, and supplies the practice content for the construction of Chinese aesthetic culture.The aesthetic culture is the basis of the development and creation of leisure consumption while the leisure consumption is the reality and existence stage of aesthetic culture. Their optimum interaction is the motivation of the development of human being and society and it is the source of creation and novelty.
