Work ethic, which extensively exists in all aspects of occupational activities, is one of the most common and basic codes of ethics in human society. It not only guides and confines workers from all walks of life, but also guarantees the society a sustainable, stable and well-ordered development. With the economic globalization and molding of market economy, we have witnessed that social distribution becomes more specific, people work in wider occupation fields, and work ethic plays a more important role in economic and social development. However, at the same time, we’re troubled by the frequent violations of moral codes and the discouraging status and effects of moral education, which severely influence the healthy development of socialist market economy and the society’s harmony as well as stability. Therefore, there lies great theoretical significance and realistic values to the systematic researches on work ethics education in current China. And being a learner, I’m willing to try exploring in this field and serve as a modest spur to induce others to come forward with their valuable contributions.Guided by the Marxist work ethics education theory, this paper analyzes all factors related to work ethics education, including its objects, contents, carriers, environment and methods, through systematically reorganizing and thoroughly analyzing the theoretical bases of work ethics education in current China. Various study methods are used during the research, covering systemic analyses, document research, class analysis, and combination of theory and practice. The whole paper consists of an introduction and main body, which is composed of six chapters.The introduction part mainly illustrates the meaning of research, the connotation of related concepts, and the current research status at home and abroad as well as the main contents and methods of the research.Chapter One:the theoretical sources and status analysis of work ethics education in current China. This chapter firstly sorts out the fundamental and basic theoretical sources of work ethics education in current China-the Marxist and its sinicized education theories on work ethics, as well as its national and heritable theoretical sources—outstanding achievements on traditional work ethics education of Chinese nation. Then, it develops all-around and in-depth analyzes of the status and the causes of work ethics education in current China, thus settling the theoretical and realistic foundations for this thesis.Chapter Two:the objects of work ethics education in current China. This chapter mainly discusses the significance and basis of the goal-setting, the basic tasks of work ethics education in current China, and also the main principles we shall comply with when carrying out the objects.Chapter Three:the connotation of work ethics education in current China. This chapter examines the necessity of perfecting the connotation, basic demands of constructing the connotation and normative contents of work ethics education in current China.Chapter Four:the carriers of work ethics education in current China. This chapter contains the significant values of exploiting the carriers, the substantive characters of the carriers, and the effective way of exploiting and using the carriers of work ethics education in current China.Chapter Five:the environment of work ethics education in current China. The chapter analyzes the necessity and possibility of optimizing the environment of occupational moral education in current China and effective approaches to achieve the optimization.Chapter Six:the methods of work ethics education in current China. This chapter illustrates the basic features of education methods, the importance of improving the methods, the effective approaches of inheriting and innovating the methods, and the necessity and effective ways of the education evaluation.
