The first Civil Code of the People’s Republic of China is not only the crystallization of the long-cherished wish and wisdom of legal scholars since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, but also a summary of the social life experience of 1.4 billion people in the new era.It reflects the basic attitude of today’s socialist China regarding the relationship between people and people, people and things, people and society, and people and nature.Based on the background of the official implementation of the Civil Code and the key publicity of the whole society, this paper analyzes the current situation of legal education in junior high schools in my country from the perspective of civil law education, looks forward to the prospect of civil law education, and proposes specific strategies for civil law education. The first part expounds the core concepts and basic theories required to locate the ideological and political courses of civil law education in junior high schools, mainly involving the concept of civil law and its evolution, the principles and spirit of civil law;Based on grasping the spirit of civil law and the content of teaching materials,we will make optimizations, and try not to deviate from the basic framework of the current curriculum;at the same time, this chapter also demonstrates the necessity of strengthening the education of civil law in junior middle schools, and analyzes the role of civil law education in basic education from three pairs of relationships.,including civil law education and moral education, civil law education and constitutional education, civil law education and the localization of rule of law education. The second part observes the status quo of legal education in junior middle schools from the perspective of civil law education, and analyzes the advantages and constraints of civil law education.Among them, stable policies, fixed curricula and young people’s plasticity are favorable conditions for the development of civil law education, while the emphasis on obligations, abuse of power and examination pressure in the education system may hinder the development of civil law education.Among them,we should pay special attention to the contradictions between foreign legal systems, legal concepts, legal culture and our country’s traditional legal culture. The third part explores the optimization path of junior high school civil law education.First,it plays a guiding role in the examination reform by increasing the score weight and adjusting the assessment method,so as to consolidate the status of the curriculum. The second is to strengthen the legal application training for teachers of the rule of law and comprehensively improve the legal literacy of teachers;finally,to expand the "second classroom" of civil law education through school law popularization activities and online media. If the rule of law is prosperous, the country will be prosperous, and if the rule of law is strong, the country will be strong.Adhering to the comprehensive promotion of scientific legislation, strict law enforcement, impartial judiciary, and law-abiding by all people is an important link in comprehensively governing the country by law.The education of the rule of law plays an irreplaceable role in enhancing the awareness of the rule of law among the whole people and creating a good atmosphere for the rule of law in the whole society. The promulgation of the Civil Code is just in time, and the civil law education in the junior high school "morality and the rule of law" course will surely undertake the historical task of publicizing and popularizing civil law to future socialist successors, and play an indispensable role in building a country under the rule of law in an all-round way.
