The research of the view of doctor cultivating quality lies the basis of its evaluation. According to the criteria of doctor training’s quality evaluation, we can generalize the views ever exist as following:view based on knowledge contribution,view based on academic training, view based on socialization theory, view based on benefit gain, view based on study improvement and view based on interest shareholders. Besides the external influence of social economic factors, the evolution history of the quality view also reflects the expect and needs of evaluators.There is difference regarding disciplines and cultivating objects for doctor training quality evaluation. Similarly, we should also relates the evaluation of interdisciplinary doctor cultivating quality to the special object, as well as the difference between disciplines. The analysis shows that, interdisciplinary doctor has a T-shape knowledge structure,interdisciplinary research competence, interdisciplinary innovation competence, competence to resolve problems, leadership and moral of trans-disciplinary. So, in the cultivating program, the course should be set in accordance with the research field, along with various research training approach and the mentor’s collective instruction. There are some differences between disciplines in the process of interdisciplinary doctoral cultivation in different fields.Interdisciplinary doctor of society cultivation has bias on writing and teaching ability, course cultivation plays a major role, mentor’s instruction frequency is low, emphasis on personal study and communication with other institute. Interdisciplinary doctor of engineering cultivation has emphasis on team working and communication ability, has lower requirement on writing and flexible on course system. Mentor’s instruction frequency is high. Give effort to inter-laboratory work, period report and non-formal discussion.Quality evaluation index of interdisciplinary doctor cultivation need twice construction.Aiming at the limitation of the evaluation index system construction of lacking related theory analysis, monotonous criterion,evaluation only ravel the management agent’s desire, oriented on value orientation of both academic and career preparation,refer to evaluation index system of the target index, process index and requirement index, we propose the quality evaluation model of interdisciplinary doctor cultivation based on the forth generation of evaluation theory.Based on the forth theory of evaluation, we separate the quality evaluation of interdisciplinary doctor cultivating to three class of interest shareholders:interdisciplinary doctors, tutors of interdisciplinary doctors and administrator of interdisciplinary. Also, we develop the internal connection structure of interest shareholders.Then, based on the value’s negotiation, we decide the various dictators and weight. Finally, we get relatively uniform on quality evaluation indicators of interdisciplinary doctor cultivating. The indicators contain4dimension indicators,16second level indicators and33third level indicators. Under the first dimension as self-assessment,5second level indicators are included:knowledge master,innovation competence of interdisciplinary, independence ability of interdisciplinary research, leadership, and team work cooperation. Under the second dimension as scholarship achievement,2second level indicators are included:quantity of papers published in core journal per person and quantity of outstanding doctor thesis. Under the third dimension as process quality,5second level indicators are included:new students enrollment, course learning, mentor’s instruction, research training and degree thesis. Under the forth dimension as scholarship assistance,4second level indicators are included:provision of resources, encouragement, communication opportunity and funds subsidize.At last, we perform quality evaluation of interdisciplinary doctor cultivating on H university. The result shows that, the overall quality of interdisciplinary doctor cultivating is good, the scholar achievement is outstanding and self assessment of result quality is good, but the there is a lack in process quality and scholarship assistance.Integrate the multi-principle doctor education’s reality and practice, problems are found of interdisciplinary doctor cultivation.It indicates the following problems in the interdisciplinary doctor cultivating:interdisciplinary research is not well integrated between the disciplinary and there is still lack of scholarship assistance to the establishing and education of interdisciplinary doctor. This may due to the lack clear idea of interdisciplinary doctor training of education organization, or not enough attention for the interdisciplinary doctor cultivating, restriction of school system for the resource for the interdisciplinary doctor cultivating. So, we need a clear idea of interdisciplinary doctor cultivating, establish a effect system for interdisciplinary doctor cultivating, highly attention need paid for interdisciplinary doctor cultivating and also give resource assistance, construct the academic communication platform, Establish quality insurance mechanism of interdisciplinary doctor cultivation, to further improve the quality.
