The core of Chinese doctoral education has gradually changed from enrollment expansion to quality. In a word, cultivating quality should be further improved is the main task of doctoral education. Nonstop cultivating model for doctoral students is beneficial to promote cultivating quality, however, the research of the model lack sufficient attention and efforts. What's more, many problems in practice have destroyed the efficiency of nonstop cultivating. Therefore, how to restructure a scientific and reasonable cultivating model for doctoral students nonstop cultivating, go without saying, will be the object of the research.Although the nonstop cultivating model of China has already made great progress, it still has many problems. The present model is mainly disconnected, closed and unscientific. The main problems are in detail as follows: doctoral curriculum system is not consistent with master curriculum system. Scientific research has been dissevered. Course studying disjoints with research. It is very difficult to transfer from PhD program to master's program. As for opening, candidates for doctoral students are in danger of inbreeding. A single tutor is the main guiding mode. Curriculum system is closed with others. The main problem for students is that lack of academic activities and academic exchanges. The method of recruitment is unscientific. Course system and studying are similar to undergraduate stage. The condition of research is necessarily needed be improved. Tutors need enhance competent guidance. Some cultivating links aren't enforced.Using the structural equation modeling, the research empirically analyzes the relationship between factors of doctoral education modes and the quality of doctoral education. The results indicate that the method of recruitment, scientific research, dissertations and supervision have significantly positive impacts on the quality of doctoral education, while no significant effects of academic activities and the curriculum have on the quality of doctoral education. Tutor supervision plays the most important role in improving the quality of doctoral education. Model for cultivating doctoral students who come directly from undergraduate program is the nonstop limit state of cultivating model for doctoral students nonstop cultivating, while model for cultivating doctoral students who come from master program is on the other extreme. Consistency and conciseness is the main characteristics of nonstop cultivating model for doctoral students. Consistency is beneficial to increasing cultivating quality, and conciseness is beneficial to increasing efficiency. Disciplines more appropriate to the nonstop cultivating model for doctoral students are basic subjects, medicine, art, agronomy, bionomy, and engineering.Doctoral students cultivating has mainly focused on nonstop cultivating in America. American graduate courses integrate with each other between master courses and doctoral courses, which stress inter-disciplines. Generally, students who come directly from undergraduate program must get more courses. American doctoral education has strict qualification examination, which is nothing between students who come directly from undergraduate program and others. Students have a primary advisor and a dissertation committee, which strengthen doctor's degree quality according to strict dissertation rules. Nonstop cultivating model for doctoral students of three countries, including Germany, Japan and Russia, has its own characteristics.This paper restructures nonstop cultivating model for doctoral students. Colleges should form recruitment committee, adopt new form of examination and enhance objectivity of interview. According to its content, layers and logic, courses should be reset with modularization and serialization. For colleges, they should increase courses'frontier, comprehensiveness, internationalization and the courses of research methods. The way educators teach students should be conducted in the seminar manner. The form of courses examination needs to be explored in depth. Students who fail any course of study should be eliminated. And colleges should take, measures to guarantee, the harmoniousness between courses studying and scientific research. Doctoral students who come directly from undergraduate program should participate in scientific research as soon as possible and try to be active in scientific pursuits. Tutors should ensure students'scientific research continuity and integrity. Doctoral students who come directly from undergraduate program should take and get many academic lectures, take an active part in academic conference and join the visit study at home and abroad. Tutors group is truly being implemented in guided method. Tutors should improve supervision frequency and professional competence and establish harmonious relations with students. Doctoral dissertation is supervised by the ways of topic opening, checked on the way, pre-defended, judged and defended. Colleges should emphasize the centre of dissertation shift forward, dissertation control in the process and self-control of tutors and students.To match with the new model for doctoral students nonstop cultivating, we should keep renewing our ideas about it. That is to say, we must know that doctoral education plays a significant role in the graduate education and enhance awareness of opening up. It is important to set up the access for doctoral program to master program and quality control of cultivating. For the same, it also need better plan of innovation in graduate education.
