Private enterprises have made great contribution to China’s national economic development, and they also have won the important position in the national economy. But with the arrival of the era of the financial crisis, private enterprises are facing some serious problems, such as the rising human cost, the shortage of capital. What’s more, the constant appearance of the trade protectionism and friction made the problem of the competitiveness of private enterprises concerned unprecedentedly. Because the "core rigid" has been come to the consensus in business, scholars’concentration has turned to dynamic capabilities. The author analyzes the influencing factor of dynamic capabilities and the connotation and function of social capital, and agrees that for the private enterprises in the economic transition period, social capital can help them acquire knowledge and resources and promote the private enterprises’dynamic level undoubtedly. Therefore, this thesis puts social capital of private enterprises’influence to dynamic capabilities as its research contents, and rich the theoretical research of the relationship between social capital and dynamic capabilities from the angle of theory; guide private enterprises to construct their social capital furthest, to improve their dynamic capabilities from the angle of the practice.The thesis gives priority to the normative analysis and empirical research with various research methods, such as data studies, survey method etc. Using SPSS Statistics17.0, AMOS5.0 and SmartPLS2.0 statistical software to analyze these data. The author uses the method of structure equation model to hypothesize, which proves that social capital’s influence to the dynamic capabilities and its regulating function to the absorptive capacity. This thesis is divided into six chapters as follows:Chapter 1, Preface. It introduces the background of this subject, its theory and practical significance, and then points out the study methods, important points, thoughts and the innovative points.Chapter 2, Literature Review. The author analyzes the relevant literatures, combined with the basic theory, the enterprise resource network theory, enterprise growth theory, core competence theory and transaction costs theory, to analyze the relationship between private enterprise social capital, absorptive capacity and dynamic capabilities, and then form the theoretical basis of the study, which make clear the connotation of private enterprise social capital, dynamic capabilities and the absorptive capacity, so it lays a foundation for the analysis of this thesis.Chapter 3, Mechanism of Private Enterprise Social Capital on Its Dynamic Capabilities. It analyzes private enterprise social capital’s foundation on various resources and knowledge acquisition and points out that knowledge and resources are the main influence factors of private enterprises’dynamic capabilities, and then complete the theoretical analysis of the influence from social capital to dynamic capabilities. The author argues that resources and knowledge can’t turn indefinitely into private enterprises’dynamic capabilities. Under the restriction of the private enterprises’absorptive capacity, their marginal function to the private enterprise dynamic capabilities can be reduced, so absorptive capacity plays a regulatory role in this transition process. Chapter 4, Study and Design. The author divides private enterprises’social capital into private enterprises’social system capital, business capital and technology social capital three dimensions through the literature review and depth interview, and divides private enterprises’dynamic capabilities into market oriented ability, resource integration capability and technical innovation ability three dimensions, based on which builds conceptual model of this paper. The author adopts the improved AHP method to measure the number of factors, which solves the problem of every dimension of the proportion in the scale, which lays the foundation for the next questionnaire design.Chapter 5, Empirical Analysis. Considering different region has different economic development and cultural background, the author has sampled in the private enterprises in the northeast of China randomly, and collected 346 effective questionnaires. First, measuring and testing the factors’compatibility through the related analysis. Second, analyzing the measuring model. To estimate the effect of factor analysis through the measurement of model fitting degree, the latent variables the common degree analysis, the latent variables to KMO and Barlett ’s experiments. Third, to examine the investigators’psychological measurement characteristics for the standard of latent variables measurement through analyzing the reliability and validity of measurement model factor. Fourth, using SmartPLS2.0 statistics software to test the model and verify the hypothesis of this thesis. Chapter 6, Conclusion and Enlightenment. The author summarizes the main points of view, and provides policy suggestions for private enterprises. He also points out the limitations of the research, and discusses the follow-up research direction. The author gets the following conclusions through the systematic analysis and research:(1)Private enterprise social capital has promoted the needs of all kinds of knowledge and resources for the development of private enterprises. Knowledge and resources are the main factors for the formation of private enterprise dynamic capabilities. Private enterprise social capital has positive effects on dynamic capabilities.(2)Absorptive capacity plays a very important regulatory role for all sorts of knowledge and resources’conversion, digestion and use. It affects the relationship between private enterprise social capital and dynamic capabilities.(3)Through the empirical analysis, the author draws a conclusion that the relationships between private enterprise social capital and all dimensions of dynamic capabilities are as follows: private enterprise social system capital and business social capital have a positive impact on the abilities of market oriented and resource conformity; The private enterprise business social capital, technology social capital have a positive impact on the ability of technology innovation.(4)The relationship between private enterprises and government, financial institutions, professional associations, customers, suppliers, peer enterprises, universities and research institutions, affects the development of private enterprises profoundly.
