In modern society, innovation has been elevated to the height of national strategy by thegovernment; innovation activities will be directly related to its survival environment and developmentfor the enterprises and the impact of independent innovation is particularly critical, it has become animportant way for enterprises to obtain core competitiveness and sustainable competitive advantages.Develop and enhance the ability of enterprise’s independent innovation is inseparable from the perfectcombination of human, financial, material, information and knowledge elements, however, thescholars pay much attention to the subject of what factors can affect the ability of enterprise’sindependent innovation and how they affect it. In recent years, a lot of researches focus on the reachabout the enterprise’s human capital, social capital and independent innovation provide this topic withtheoretical basis and new ideas. The research pays close attention on how the enterprise’s humancapital and social capital can influence the ability of independent innovation.According to existing research, in this paper, firstly, we settle its idea by reviewing lots ofdocuments related theory of human capital, social capital and enterprise’s independent innovation athome and abroad. Then from the micro perspective, we construct the relation model between theenterprise’s human capital and independent innovation by adding absorptive capacity as theintermediary variable, and construct another relation model between the social capital andindependent innovation by adding cooperation as the intermediary variable, finally come up withrelative research hypothesis, design the questionnaire, to verify the scientific and accuracy of thetheoretical model, by assuming test to determine the correctness of hypotheses.We draw conclusions through the questionnaire investigation and empirical analysis as following:1. Enterprise’s human capital has a positive impact on independent innovation by the absorbing ability;the mediating effect of absorptive capacity has been fully validated.2. Enterprise’s social capital has apositive impact on independent innovation by cooperation; the mediating effect of cooperation hasbeen partly validated. Finally, we point out its theoretical and practical significance by discussing theempirical results and put forward some suggestions for further research.
