Industrial Clusters Competitiveness Of China’s Textile Industry

Industrial clusters is a global economic phenomenon, which has been a common trait incurrent international competitive advantage industries and is a key factor to improve industrialcompetitiveness and form region competition advantages.As a pillar industry in our country, textile industry has played a key role in satisfyingdomestic demands, job enlargement and "Farmers-Agriculture-Countryside" and balancingforeign exchange receipts and disbursements for the past many years. Meanwhile, our countryhas the powerful Comparative Advantage in the international marketplace. Hence, thedevelopment of China’s textile industry will have the direct bearing on social steadiness andSustainable Development of economics. As an important type of organization, textile clustersis also a reason why our textile industry can obtain the competitive advantage internationally.Durable and healthy development of textile industry clusters will decide the fate of the wholeindustry. From this, it can be seen that researches on textile clusters endows prominentpractical significance.Based on the predecessor’s study, the article is to analysis the existing research results indetail. Methods used in the article include standardization versus empirical research,qualitative versus quantitative Research, induction versus deduction, literature study and filedtrip, etc. In theoretical analysis, a lot of essential concepts and principles of regionaleconomics, economics for development, institutional economics and industrial economics areused to investigate the form, development and the existing main problems of China’s textileindustry clusters. And growth and sustainable development are further quested. In empiricalresearch, the relative theories are emphasized to conduct qualitative research. The research viewpoints and status of different academicschool about the industrial clusters were reviewed. The connotation, characteristics, properties,origin mechanism, and influencing factors of industrial clusters competitiveness were proposed.Chapter2The overview of China’s textile industrial development. The present situationand the main problems in the China’s textile industrial development were studied. Thedevelopment opportunity of China’s textile industry was analyzed. Then the textile industry inChina and India were compared. Finally, the background of industrial transfer, tendency andgeographical distribution of China’s textile industry were analyzed.Chapter3The analysis of China’s textile industry clusters The formation model，characteristics, function and advantages of China’s textile industry clusters were studiedfirstly. Then the research status and main problems of China’s textile industry clusters wereinvestigated.Chapter4Evaluation and empirical study of China’s textile industry clustercompetitiveness Based on the study of front, two main models of evaluation of industrial wereproposed and the recognition of China’s textile industry clusters was empirical analyzed. Andthe China’s textile industry clusters competitiveness was empirical analyzed by Potter’sdiamond model.Chapter5Sustainable development of China’s textile industry clusters In this chapter,the sustainable development necessity and connotation of industry clusters were discussed.The life cycle and risk of industry clusters were analyzed. And the promotion of industrycluster was proposed aiming to the sustainable development necessity of China’s industrycluster. Then the risk and upgrade of China’s textile industry clusters were empirical analyzedand the policy suggestions of the sustainable development of China’s textile industry clusterswas Proposed.Conclusion Based on analysis of the preceding chapters, this chapter concluded the studyof competitiveness of China’s textile industry clusters.
